Honestly other then the vault animation which makes me sad. I feel she will remain mostly unchanged for me. I stopped using addons a long time ago and I never was bothered by the collision.
On the other hand I feel new or bad Spirits will suffer immensely from this. This might be the intended result to force a lot of people out of Spirit and into other killers.
What I don't get is why BHVR is so worried about nerfs when so, so many killers need buffs to be more competitive. Map Design needs reworks so there aren't infinites and so many appelts, as well as lowering the size on many maps.Make it so survivor and killer hitboxes are the same size again so looping isn't nearly as effective against killers.
I am a fair killer main on PS4. I am done with DBD until they stop nerfing killers. Hope you survivor mains enjoy your 10+ minute queues. I main Freddy, ghostface and Spirit.

Always complaing spirit will still be strong just more skillful to play now. Many said the same with nurses and yet still 4k with her. All those two need is some tweaks for add-ons that's it.
Dude spirit was op, that's it. They said statistically too many games with spirit don't end well for survivors. A nerf is required and necessary.
The problem with this comes down to how killers rank up vs BHVR's expectations. BHVR wants a killer to get two kills, and for two survivors to escape on average. The problem is too pip as a killer requires at least 3 kills for the most part, and sometimes 4 depending on the speed of the game (and sometimes not even then). If they want me to think killers should be at this level of expectation, they need to change how ranking up works for killers.

From what I've heard though, a 2K gets you a black pip, right? Doesn't that mean you're at the correct rank if you're getting steady 2Ks (and in turn black pips?)

I didn't want Spirit changed, personally, but what she got is NOT that big of a deal! Her basekit was hardly even scratched and ultimately this is the best middle ground we could have gotten.

This is possibly the most reasonable nerf in a long time. If anything, she got undernerfed as there's still no real counterplay to a pair of headphones while you have to simply guess.
It's my opinion she may receive more nerfing in the future, but at the moment they don't want to Legion her by nerfing every possible aspect at once, then question why the killer has become crap.
The only thing GOOD Spirits really lost was Prayer Beads, and the ease of never having to decide which stat to buff because Yakuyoke did everything.
Survivors only get game breaking stuff nerfed, Spirit wasn't nearly as bad as a syringe, or especially 2+ syringe.
Also, styptic is buffed. Insta down killers? Lmao get gamered on.
The styptic gives plenty of time to make a pallet too.
Killers do adapt, but often get unnecessary nerfs. Like Nurse.
As spirit main I dont think that this is overkill but it is annoying that so many addons are nerfed at the same time. The amulette is still has its usage but the tsuba and wakisachi are rip especially with the basekit nerf of the sprint boost after phasewalk. You surely can use them but the other green addons like duration, speed or recovary speed are way stronger compared to that.
So what I think is, the changes are decent but you will see every spirit running around with the same addon build now. No one will use silent, wakisachi, bloody hair brush, only duration and movementspeed or duration plus recovary speed.
The changes actually seem adequate. After the Nurse nerf I expected a lot worse.
Have to test her in the PTB to be sure, but from what I read it's actually good - removes some annoying ######### on survivor side and doesn't add any annoying ######### on killer side (unlike Nurse) or turn Spirit into a generic M1 killer (unlike Legion)

Tremendously true. If anything, Spirit got trimmed down to the playstyle people ACTUALLY play her as. While yes, it is a nerf, they're nerfs in areas that were basically unneeded.
IE, when people's biggest complaint is the fact that they're adding a vaulting animation to her, you know not much changed.
I know that you would like to get killers in the game that can end match in few seconds but not anymore. If you want to win the game, try harder! Nurse is fine now, her blinks only are strange on dedicated servers. Legion is good too.

The thing is: i'm not upset by the nerf, (personally wasn't needed), they made nurse UNFUN, spirit will be UNFUN to play AS.

With the Nurse nerf it's clear - doubling the time she has to wait after each blink is unfun.

I'm glad that they didn't touch her base power for the most part, minus the post-phase speed and vault animation.
Overall, I don't think these changes will affect the way I play her - I mostly use grey addons anyway. It will, however, completely affect how I navigate the bloodweb with her - from now on I will be avoiding all purple/pink addons as they're all garbage. A better change would have been to switch rarity for amulet and father's glasses.
As for why this whole debacle is annoying... killer nerfs are always the priority when it comes to balancing. They're more frequent, and often times more severe due to how the devs approach them - holding one hand over their eyes and randomly whacking at them with a machete. Loops really need to be balanced in all levels, not just badham - I know it's coming, but that's going to take years. On top of this, hitboxes have been so terrible since patch 3.0.0, and it's never been acknowledged, which means no changes in sight.

I disagree only with amulet nerf. I mean, the slow down part. It gonna give a benefit that has slightly higher value than green add-on, but also a huge downside. It's nurse's purple add-ons all over again, that was considered to be worse than their lower rarity version.
