Mettle of Man is better than before. But it's still too difficult to pull off.

If mettle of man was brought down to two protection hits, it'd be perfect.

I think 2 would be the right number, hard but you don’t have to throw away your entire game to obtain the stack
It's meant to be a one-trick perk. You should only be running one of those anyways-- and being able to take three hits is massively powerful, the requirement is justified.
If mettle of man was brought down to two protection hits, it'd be
perfectabused. In relation to other perks survivors have access to, it wouldn't be fair.
I can see it now, survivor protects an injured survivor, and is downed. They get their MoM stacks, MoM activates. The killer slugs them because there's still one injured survivor running nearby. Another survivor comes up and heals the one with MoM. The killer returns, hits the survivor with MoM, endurance activates, they get a speed boost and run away. The killer catches up, that same survivor uses dead hard. The killer catches up again, the survivor uses a styptic, they get endurance and another speed boost.
Also, let's not forget the indirect buff to MoM - and a huge one at that - is that protections hits are now granted for being hit while body blocking a killer that's carrying a survivor. Not to mention they can happen every 3 seconds, instead of every 20 seconds.
I usually run with friends that don’t do so well in chases, so I can see myself definitely body blocking more often to secure those stacks and make sure I can make up for their lackluster chases and get us out in the end.
lol wtf like thats gonna happen. Dont slug
After finally playing around with it last night, I agree. With 2 instead of 3 hits required I think the perk would be in a good spot.
I would be happy with the removal of the aura-revealing downside instead of a hit requirement reduction.
Instances like that were really common before they nerfed mettle of man. "Don't slug" ... ok.
yup, two hits would be nice.
yea before they nerfed you literly have to detiate a whole game to get mettle of man. I tried and the "buff" is straight dookey
I actually played with someone that managed to get MOM to work twice in one game, I thought they used a Styptic the 1st time until I saw she brought in a Syringe!
F**k that perk
