The stats don't separate the good vs bad survivors. If we saw a stat of good survivors their survival rate might be as high as 90%.
Survivors are allowed to be invulnerable. The stats the devs are only interested in are specific killers and this why they'll never be a killer capable of stopping them.
I would like to see amount of PLAYERS compared to their SURVIVAL/KILL RATE. I.e. what kind of rates players can achieve, and how many players are there that can achieve that.
XBOX player here. I'm sorry, but no, even the Devs have said you shouldn't take the stats to make statements.
If they show me the kill rates per killer on red ranks for people who don't main those killers per platform (AKA few hours of gameplay with those kilers) THEN I'll say "ok" to your post argument, I'm afraid to tell you most red rank killers use their mains all the time and change killer every now and then for a challenge or for fun. So, I'm pretty sure the stats show an average where the most of the players who ever plays those killers at red ranks either mains them or know how to properly use them vs the small population who uses them cause they have to.
I can get a 4k with my mains in red ranks all the time (Trapper, Freddy, GF), but if you dare make me play as Nurse, The Pig or Myers I'm gonna get a 0-1k average rank. I believe I'm one of the people helping to get GF stats up for example.
Another thing is, if they count a DC as a kill, THAT is helping the stats per killer go up.
I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE WRONG, I'm saying we need more info to write those arguments as statements.
Well I personally am still certain that killers such as Wraith, Clown or Doctor have almost no chance against a really well organized survivor team that knows how to loop and do gens. But I agree that there are certainly more killers viable than only 3. Maybe not against the top 1% of swf survivor teams that use voice comms to their fullest potential, but you can't balance this game around them, especially not since the balance gap between solo and swf survivors is still too big. And these stats pretty much prove this to me.
Because it's much harder to get to red ranks as killer than it is as survivor. Because it's easier to pip as survivor you get a lot of bad survivors there.
So I'm confused about your comment because you just said that you can consistently 4k with your main as can most killers. What argument are you trying to prove by saying that?
Also Mandy stated in another thread that DC's do NOT count as kills so you should probably fact check first before making a claim like that
Yeah, it also includes matches where survivors DC mid game. So what's your point here?
It's already an undeniable fact that the top 3 killers can deal with the best of the best, while most other killers will struggle and most likely end up losing.
You don't understand. Killers that aren't viable, like clown, can't win vs sweaty swf no matter how well you play due to their power and game mechanics.
Anyways, here's this.
1 game with 0k as Legion, 4 escape. Kill rate=0%
2nd game with 4k as Legion, 4 died. Kill rate=50% as 4/8 died.
I would like to point out that ANY stat up to 75% was 2 downs. Now, go look at that chart again. Also there is no discussion about the people that first hook suicide or Swf or anything like that. The data was WAY too vague to draw up any useful conclusions.
I feel like the stats are perfect, and I'm just going to give an unpopular opinion: 50% is not great for killers because that means all generators were powered to allow 2 survivors to escape. When all generators are powered, you know the game was very close and killers who don't have endgame perks, often lose at that point unless they already have huge snowball momentum.
Therefore, I like how the killers are around 60%-70%, through I think anything that's above 75% needs a nerf in some aspect. 😁🤗

That would look more like workable stats.

They already did release those stats before. It's like a 7% difference.
Actual stats or some time ago?
It was in May this year.
Was before the nurse nerf tho, but seems like a proof. Actual stats would still be interesting.

Being generous it's technically 4..well..nurse is semi questionable atm
The stats from before showed that the survival rating of a 4 man SWF group vs a group of 4 randoms only had a difference of around 7%.
It was for red ranks?
For that particular chart, they didn't differentiate by rank. This is the posting im referring to if you want to take a look at each.
That argument isn't valid at all because it shows that solo surivior is no match against killer (obviously swf is another thing).

2K in high ranks = de-pip or black pip at base. The emblem system has not been adjusted to reflect this preferred baseline the devs want.

WOW that graph is old as sin.
Don't disrespect The Clown. He's an awesome Killer!

He really isn't and the stats show it.
Change your picture, please. You don't deserve to rep The Clown.
No.
