Stop...having sudden skill checks...just as another survivor gets hooked.

This really gets up my bloody nose.

Survivor goes on hook and you're working on gen and *BOOM!* comedy skill check!!! Hilarious. This happens far too often to be a coincidence. It's ruddy ridiculous. Huff!

I just want skill checks to come in one speed not three. Laggy, slow, and faster than sound. It's annoying with Ruin.

I dunno about that, but I've literally let go of generators before, started walking, then hear the skill check noise and then the generator blows up when I'm already a small distance away from the generator. Almost like I missed an Overcharge skill check or something.

Happens a lot when healing too. Will stop healing myself and start sprinting and then I suddenly stab myself in the gut and scream like an entire second later.

Yeah that moving off a gen incident is another great little gem.

Good to know it's not just me that gets a whammy from this.

This happens to me pretty often. Skill checks should be treated like overcharge where if you get off you still have to do the check.

There was actually another thread about the exact same thing that Peanits literally posted in to say it is totally RNG based and nothing modifies skill check chances except for perks/addons that specifically do (ex. Spine Chill, Unnerving Presence).

Hate to break it to ya, but it's kinda just confirmation bias, you remember it when it happens but not when it doesn't. When it does happen it's a lot more noticeable and memorable because you have the scream of the survivor getting hooked to associate it with. What about all the others times someone got hooked and you didn't get a skill check? What, don't remember cause no skill check is kinda boring and ignorable? That's pretty normal.
