Due to latency issues in the PTB, we have decided to postpone the server hit validation test until after the update releases on the live version of the game. We will let you know when the test will take place as soon as we can. Thank you all for your patience.

Funny not once do you mention bloodlust. You must fall into the category of bad killers, like I said before. I main Nurse and Billy mostly, sometimes Michael or Wraith. I personally think most of the other killers need buffs and tweaks. Again, if you're having a problem at pallets it is most likely a personal problem because you aren't playing your best or messed up. I get my rank reset every month just like everyone else. I usually see how long it takes me to get Rank 1 and when I get there I stop trying hard and start having fun with meme builds. Because I find no reason to stay there, I just like to see how long it takes. Last season I was reset to 20 from 16 because I did not play Killer much the month prior.

I am giving feedback about these garbage pallets. Find somewhere else to complain how bad you are at Killer. I don't need to prove credentials to state my opinion.

    Bloodlust lol.
What is this mysterious thing you talk about? "Blood-lust"? It's so familiar, I think I've heard about it once. Is it that thing that was supposed to help Killer counter pallet loops, but was nerfed like three or four times before it was even implemented, and then only appeared as a weak, nearly-useless mechanic that actually did nothing but waste the Killer's own time?

Again, you seem strangely unaware that in this game your skill level as a Killer is capped by the skill level of the Survivors.
If you're playing with low-experience newbies or casual gamers, fair enough - but if you're playing against Survivors who have at least some map knowledge and experience (to say nothing of their Perks, items and SWF), you are limited by how good they are.

At the higher ranks and while playing with experienced Survivors, it is no longer your game to win - it is their game to lose.

You can be the absolute best at mindgames, you can have perfect, optimal routing around every maze and obstacle and know exactly which direction to go from around what Thing in the game - and none of it will make any difference if the Survivors have even half as much knowledge and experience as you do.

It has nothing to do with whether or not you're "good" or "bad" - but whether or not you chose to play Killer or Survivor.

    Even character doesn't matter.

Just take a viewing of marth88's match against BlinkyBill (a Nurse Main with more hours in the game than you claim to have).

You can see Perkless Survivors destroying experienced Killers that you cannot dismiss as "bad Killers".

    PS

If you were Rank 16, you would have been reset to Rank 19 - not 20. You really should learn how Rank resets work before claiming you were "this Rank" or "that Rank".

I personally have no problems with the new pallets changes, I don't see the difference personally, and now that the vacuum is gone it's more fair for the killer and it avoids you to be teleported on the wrong side of the pallet

You keep nitpicking at my comments instead of staying on point. The pallet changes were intended to improve the pallet system and fix the vacuuming effect which hypothetically helps both sides. The PTB pallets are not ideal and risky to use. THEY WERE NOT INTENDED TO MAKE THINGS HARDER FOR SURVIVORS which is exactly what they do.

    Fair enough.
I haven't gotten to play Survivor too much on the PTB (one match, I don't recall noticing too much of a difference with the pallets, but I also don't remember trying to drop pallets mid-run too much) as of yet, so I can't contest or confirm that.

I'll put my position on the pallet changes like this:
The vacuum going away is a good thing - if the change included Survivors being unable to drop pallets mid-run (i.e. having to let go of the SHIFT button in order to be able to drop a pallet they pass through), then the change needs some tweaking.
I don't mind having to time the drop by first passing through the pallet, but if you have to do a dance with your fingers in order to do it then ugh. Then again, it might be kind of like learning to drive shift? I dunno, need some more testing before I can comment on that bit.

Again, though, I'm fully in favor of vacuum going away.

That wasn't exactly the point. The point is that the current pallet changes suck because you're supposed to release the shift key every time you wanna pull down a pallet, and not even then it's 100% guaranteed that the prompt shows up at that very moment. And honestly I never saw a problem with pallet looping, from my point of view I gotta admit, survivors just need more objectives so the killer has more time, this would make the game more interesting and fun for both sides. Instead of constantly buffing or nerfing anything/anyone and make them rage about it, more objectives should've been taken into consideration a long time ago. The game needs to be balanced around SWF though, but those pallet changes [BAD WORD] over every solo queue survivor, because after 2-3 gens, all the pallets will be gone.. except on Blood lodge maybe, depending on it's spawns. That means if this goes live, there will be more pallet wasting survivors more than ever, even on high ranks. And for me this wouldn't be fun to play.

I on the other hand have a huge problem with pallet looping. Running in circles is fun for no one and if these changes help stop that, then I'm cool with it. Also this is a PTB, so obviously there are issues. That's why it's a PTB lol. Vacuum still needs to go. Completely unfair to the killer. As far as pallet wasting... it is what it is. You'll just have to rely on juking out the killer, which is honestly more fun than running in circles until the killer gets close and dropping a pallet.
