Getting trapped in your own traps

Was playing yesterday as trapper and had the basement trapped real well to make a rescue difficult. What ended up happening was the survivors got away and i stepped on my own trap. I know I'm a dummy for stepping in my own trap but it wouldn't release me. I kept get trapped over and over. The survivors went and finished the gens and powered the door before coming and disarming my trap to set me free. Anyone else have this issue yet?
