Try verifying the integrity of the files on Steam ? or try reinstalling it, to see if she skipped the installation of the DirectX needed for the game

Sorry if it doesnt correct the error, by checking on the net you may need to search for .dll files the microsoft visual c++ lacks

Could also do with either screenshots or log files to help diagnose the error. :)

She tried verifying the integrity -> didn't work

She tried reinstalling it, even 3 times -> didn't work

She reinstalled DirectX -> didn't work

First of all it said there's "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" missing in her computer, she succesfully installed it into her computer, it actually fixed the .dll error, but it came with another error (0xc00007b)

You mean screenshot of the error window/box? or what do you mean?

Sorry, had a head cold (stil got it too, rip)

Screenshot of the error and you can get log files like this.

    1. Press Windows Key + R to bring up "Run".

    2. Type this in the "Run" prompt: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs

    3. The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file.

Did you fix this? Having same error code and all fixes aren't working. Try reinstall, verify, fixing directX, etc

Pretty sure you just need to install or repair each of the vcredists.

Went there, clicked on the recommended link

Tried to install it, but my computer did a prompt to tell me that I had the latest updated .net framework

     Magically worked
