Massive Frame Drops On Good System

I'm experiencing massive dips in frames most of my games. My machine should easily reach a steady 60 or above at all times but while in motion I am lucky to achieve above 40 and half the time it stutters at 14. These numbers are with lowered game specs and 6% resolution to get the game to run semi-smoothly.

Not Under Load - This game was played with no external programs running while on the lowest graphics and 6% resolution.


Under Minor Load - This game was played with playing video and audio from youtube with discord open (no call)


Under Moderate Load - This game was played with playing audio and video from youtube while in a discord call.


Some maps are worse than others, such as Yamaoka's estate as you can see, making it nearly unplayable. I do not believe this is a bottleneck issue as neither CPU nor GPU got above 50% in any of the tests. The issue is also not my internet as the players I am playing with are all in the same house on the same internet and none of them have any of these issues.

My drivers are updated and I am running out of ideas on what could be the cause of this game running poorly when all others run flawlessly. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

    You should try 1920 x 1080 on these, no matter the screen size.

    And usually frame drops for a second or two could mean that something's wrong with your RAM.

    @SambaSaw I tested my RAM with windows memory diagnostic but got no errors. I'm currently 75% done with a deeper scan but so far still nothing.

    Try verifying game files because you really should have at least 100 fps if not even more on max settings.

    Remove your ini file edits.

    I'm seeing a lot of folks reporting stuttering from removing the 60fps cap imposed by the engine.

    Good god so many unneccessary, useless and silly edits which are no doubt topped off by the good old icing on the cake mindless setting of the ini to "read-only".. right?

    Nice ini setting you cheater!

    I'm guessing you just copy paste it without understanding what some lines does and why it considered cheating.

    You only need turn off vsync and set frame limit in the ini to uncap your fps.
