She offers entirely unique gameplay for both sides. I find that something worth keeping, especially because she actually got me extremely into teleportation as a power.
But as for balance issues, LOS breaks were your best friend, as was juking at the last second. It required to you to think about how and where you were gonna go. It actually made you play the game differently instead of just looping around [BAD WORD] over and over. I met PLENTY of survivors that were capable of dodging me to the point where I had to switch targets and kill them through making them rescue their teammates or some similar way.
Breaking LOS makes her teleporting through walls a guessing game. It was never a guaranteed hit, you always had to outplay (or occasionally out luck) your opponent or you wouldn't get any reward at all.
I don't want to hear the excuse she isn't balanced because if a survivor who actually put in the time and energy to learn her counter could actually have engaging matches with her there is no reason to say she can't be balanced and fun for both sides.
It was a takeaway scenario no matter what, BHVR wanted to change her base kit. That's why I asked which poison you'd rather pick.
Yes her addons that increased blink range and increased the number of blinks were overpowered, but now they are gone, people just have to get used to the fact that not every killer can be looped the same way, they are just so set in stone on the "if I can't loop them it must be broken."
Yet there was counterplay to nurse and there were ways to win against nurse, that's what made her special she was different and made the game fun and fresh.
There was no escaping a god nurse who turned their volume up very loud and could always hit their blinks. She was a top tier for a reason, no?

The update that nerfed the base kit was expose to be an addon only update aka not touching her base kit.
Her base kit even then was fine it was her green/purple addons that were game breaking(she could stack so much blink+ distance to loops around the map repeatedly in 1 blink chain).
Its also why people have been worried about billy/leatherfaces "Addon" update gutting both of them.
I thought good nurses didn't even like to use addons because it messed with their muscle memory.

Same can be said for SWF and even really good solos. Many experiments like Marth's depip squad have shown in different eras in DBD that survivors are usually the strongest in the game, barring Nurse. But you still had to have the skill to win with her, isn't that the entire point? If you're more skilled than your opponent you should win a majority of the time no?
People said that about nurse post nerf then the blink disabling glitches came out and were never fixed.
Yes, but those nurses weren't the ones being complained about were they. It was the addons that people were angry about because it gave the nurse too much potential to wreck havoc.

Yeah you're right actually. Wouldn't be surprised if his chainsaw just didn't work half the time after the "addon rework"
I'm betting we'll get a bug where you fully charge your chainsaw and go to use it for it to just bug out and leave you on cooldown.
That's one of the reasons why old nurse was fun, she didn't have a hard ceiling in skill you could play her addonless and still play her like normal.
Just because somebody mastered nurse to such a degree doesn't mean the killer is overpowered, survivors could also reach a level where they were almost unbeatable without perks or addons. If they put the time in to do such a thing shouldn't they be rewarded for their effort?

If an additional cool down on top of the existing cool down was needed then it should be applied if the Nurse attacks instead of every time she uses her power. There were compromises that could of been made but all suggestions were ignored.
Also, after giving our feedback, the Devs took a proverbial 💩 on our opinions and nerfed the two addons that reduced the primary criticism of the rework.
But now it will have a cooldown!

Well now we all have something great to look forward to in the future, the ghost cooldowns. BHVR should just turn it into official lore at this point, that hillybilly is afraid of ghosts.

Every time they do an addon rework now I just know they are going to be making a bunch of useless addons and some a few decent ones, it's too hard making all the addons do something unique and helpful apparently.
I just wish that the higher the addons the better they are, because I have to say the ultra rares for nurse are anything but useful. Though I am pleasantly surprised they actually made doctor's ultra rares decent though most of his other addons...
Petition to change the extra blink ultra rare addon into an addon that let's you play base blink nurse from before the nurse nerf.

Yea though I wonder if they will ever do anything about the state of the nurse, they seem to think the change was a positive one for the game, but it removed a killer from the play entirely as her pick rate is nothing like it was before.
