I did not know this, and that is ridiculous. So how are killers suppose to slow the gens down when the devs are making it so they can't? Not to mention a surv can just run by and tap the gen in half a second and stop the regress... 🤦♂️
even before Peanits' statement, Tremors was bad.. 16 seconds is nothing. I mean the gens were already not being worked on.. so.. whoopty do. Use BBQ if you want to know which gen they are on and get some more bloodpoints.
Oof well time to stop running tremors.
Thanks for telling us the truth though, do you have any plans on buffing thrilling tremors in the near future? :(
I use TT when i cant find bbq in my bloodwebs. I've never tried it with ruin but the pause in regression is crappy. As often as ive gone against it, TT hasnt looked like its hindered me at all. At least the ruin regression would make it useful.
Is good, for tracking tho
People thought it regressed (placebo effect) because the current base regression speed is already so bad it's hardly noticeable. When expectations are so low it's easier to not even notice.
No.. the cooldown is to long and as peanits just said, it doesn't regress while its blocked. So you kick the gen hook the survivor go across the map another survivor taps the gen and saves and the gen is right where it was.
I love the direction it can give me while playing and it does provide some sort of defense.... however the news that I have just read...... "regression stops while the gen is blocked" is absolutely awful.
Regression is like 1/4 of a second (I am just going with a round # it may be .28something) this means the gen has to regress around 4 seconds in order to take off a whopping 1 second....... so the most that would come off the gen is a whole 4 seconds of progress in the 16 seconds that TT is up... so 4 seconds if regression is taking place -----> every 60 seconds......
I love Thrilling Tremors as a perk and will continue to use it but the pause is unnecessary.
This is just gold.
In other games you find cool synergies, here it is well no this is not something we like.
This is why people want the devs to be more open about how things work in the game.
This information literally changes how people can and will use the perk.
I do appreciate the openness and honesty about the perk keep it up but as I stated above this information SHOULDN'T have been hidden to begin with and that's NOT your fault as the Community Manager.
As the saying goes DON'T shoot the messenger
