I can discern so far out of your writing that you want a single player mode or a code of conduct that players would have to adhere to a certain pattern you favor most.
1.5x will make a difference over 20 days, much more than 2x for only 4. This is much better than the blood hunts. If it was made 20 days of 2x it'd make the normal blood hunts look meaningless by comparison.
But if it were 3 weeks long farming might not be an issue. Due to the fact that they feel like they can have 21 days instead of just 7. So they could play normally and still earn what they could have farmed.
The last 3 or 4 days of the event is when they would farm the heck out of it due to the feeling of: "Oh shoot I spent it all on a Prestige Claudette and I wanted to get The next chapter's killer to max level!!!"
So yes in some cases farming could happen. In most likely scenario though they would play as if it were a normal match until the last 3 or 4 days of the event.
The system punishes camping and slugging also tunneling is a legit tactic, not a good tactic and you will stay stuck in low ranks as a killer doing it but a legit tactic non the less.
Always fun to see the people who are upset. I didn't check the forum until today, but when I logged in yesterday afternoon and saw the 1.5x boost, I literally said "oh hell yeah" and proceeded to play the whole day to boost 2 of my killers to 40 so I get the teachables for my Doc. Seems like it was a massively good time to switch to PC from PS4, this event makes the grind almost negligible to unlock the perks I want over the next couple weeks.
Awesome timing, and thanks a ton, Devs. There may be issues with the game and it is extremely hard to balance, but small things like this event (which isn't totally small since it's a couple weeks long) go a very long way for community health ^_^
Side note: the number of games I ran yesterday with streamer offerings and stuff was crazy. And it brought out a lot of survivors that weren't nasty when they won or lost (killer main so I've been tired of that part of the surv pool). All in all, amazing choice
Your reading comprehension is lacking at best. This was never an argument, it is opinion. Overall census of most posts from one side or the other consider certain things to be overly toxic or frustrating. Winning and losing is not the issue at all. If you are overly frustrated from losing a video game than maybe you should live on a secluded isle. There is a huge difference in losing and not being able to participate, or from a killer side there is the rediculous aspect of having 4 man SWF aggressively harass the killer all game.
The problem is that you can't even acknowledge that some of these things are overly frustrating to the average player and not always aimed at trying to win. Such as the guy that runs Bubba with the name Face Camper and he openly admits he does not play to win, he just wants to upset other players by denying the any BP or ability to play.
Your efforts in this conversation are weak and non inspiring, I'll let you get back to your homework bow.
I agree. The point was merely to say that using the argument that farming might upset some players is a fallacy of logic at best. Considering there are many other forms of playe that deny participation in the full game experience that are significantly more frustrating to many more of the player base. Would rather them just say shut up and enjoy 20 days of 50 percent bonus. Wht complain about 20 days of 50 percent bonus anyways?!

Moreover, you use terms so blank that they are almost entirely defined by the subjective feelings of every individual. Bravo.
Rude and despicable of you, but - oh, my reviling, tactless fellow - let me educate you: the opinion card is not a trump-it-all card, sure, you can keep saying stuff like "camping on a hook is frustrating, because I like chocolate ice", what is as nonsensical as your "so called opinion" whose denotation probably is only to cover up your intention to fulfill your own wishes, but this behavior is as detrimental for any discussion, you chose as your drop hole for your "so called opinion", as certain behavior in a match.
And not only that, you also acknowledge indirectly to have no interest in somewhat equal chances for a positive outcome for either seide and balance of the match, but are more concerned about "making the game more friendly for beginners" which in itself is a good idea, but your lack of "preventing stuff to be exploitable" and your intrinsic approval of the collateral damage "that one side be the extra in a scene for the other side to enjoy their time" is the flaw here.
In addition your ignorance of already introduced means to punish certain behavior deemed as bad is as much prevailing. What should the developers do? Maybe implementing an AI which does your every bidding without every wish to win now and then? That is what you essentially call for in consequence. And while you are at it, try to keep the gutter language out of the forums.
