Killers, please continue smacking survivors on hooks

You waste precious seconds to feed your ego while the other 3 survivors work on gens/exit gates... or provide an opening for another survivor to go in for the save without hook trading.
Please continue to do this pointless animation which reduces your potential bloodpoint gain or rank increase! :)

so when are you going to call out teabagging
Teabagging has no downsides
Survivors have time to waste. The butt dance is usually performed after a pallet stun or vaulting a window with the killer hitting a wall, which results is no time lost for the survivor team. Each second of a killer match counts, and I’ve laughed numerous times seeing a hook-smacking killer lose a kill because he was caught in the animation.
I definitely appreciate it when a face camper is hitting the hooked survivor. Saves me from having to take a hit to get the off-hook, then everyone gets away. :) 👍️
So Its ok for survivors to be toxic man i really hate this playerbase
I didn’t say it’s okay for a survivor to be toxic, I said it doesn’t lose the survivor team’s time. A teabagging survivor in a chase isn’t halting gen progression from the other 3 survivors.
i like how in literally EVERY thread on these forums that is about only killers or only survivors, you'll have people come in with their "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER SIDE?".
make your own thread lol
I know! If I see a killer hook smacking I get that perfect timing for a safe unhook. I don't know why there are killers that do this...maybe they are unaware that they are putting themselves at a disadvantage.
Exactly. I know this thread and the title give the impression that it’s survivor-sided thinking, but it’s more of a PSA to killers that you gain nothing by doing this except waste time in game where each second counts.
Unless it’s at the end of the game when you’ve secured your hooks/kills, then it doesn’t matter of course.
I have do it in a handful of situations, but always just 1 time. I had use it as "warning" to the survivor that I disliked his behavior and only in 1 case the survivor had not understand it, or was not willing to do it and well, then he was angry that he was promoted to 1 of the 2 or 3 guys I have ever facecamp in dbd :).
What a surprise, maan. What a surprise o_O.
plus it's great for your thighs!
Ans so I shall!
A survivor does lose time by teabagging, because instead of sitting behind the pallet, they could already build up a distance :P
But yeah, y'all do what y'all want
Giving the perfect opportunity to unhook means either they're constantly hitting the survivor or you raced to the hook and completely lucked out that the killer did something stupid after you hook rushed. I think the bigger consequence for the killer is that by doing so, they're announcing to everybody that they're camping and smart survivors will know to just do gens without needing to check.
Yes Daddy Michael, spank me more <3
Just to play Devils Advocate but I'm pretty sure the people who do that don't actually care about losing the match.
Lets take this to the basement.
No thank you, I'd rather not.
I have only really seen it a few times in my games, fortunately. I don't get why they do it, but I am pretty sure that a thread like this won't convince them to change their ways. Clearly when they are doing that, they aren't concerned about winning. They just want to be as toxic as possible.
You guys don't wait to demolish the team before hook smacking? Pathetic
I'll bring the whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
I know what you mean... I’ll be honest and say I’ve done it before (albeit a long time ago). It cost me a gen because I had Pop and got to the gen a second too late lol.
Naahh... I was never the killer bhvr wanted me to be.
I had always see more fun in the chases. To mindgame someone, or to stab someone. I mean, I was happy that the gens are there, but just as a starting point.
Sure I like to win, like everyone, but I had most of the time value other things more.
If you play games more like you want and more chilling, they usually make more fun. Of course this doesn't get you to the red ranks, but I don't mind. I don't like to be there anyways.
Edit: TL:DR I don't care if a survivor can come away from the hook. After all, that means I can chase and stab him again :D.
Bubba says hello..
Imagine posting encouragement towards killers to play how they want 😁
Thank You, i will continue to play how i like, i just hope i dont get any salt at the end of the match since it doesnt matter.
u mad brah?
Not exactly, tbagging after a stun or while a killer breaks a pallet is precious time you could have been gaining distance and extending your chase, and allowing you to waste more killer time in chase as teammates do gens. Tbagging keeps you still and trims your chase down, even if it's not immediately noticeable.
I hit survivors when I don't like their behaviour such as teabagging after every safe pallet (ormond), clicky clicky clicky spam etc.
But saying that hitting a hooked survivor just wastes time so does teabagging, you can gain more distance if you don't teabag, I get that you lose time as a killer but I mean you can't control what people do, let the killer hit you or whatever but I mean if you are complaining about it, it just means that you either got mad at someone that did that to you or you do that and people got mad at you.
Darn, hitting a survivor on the hook is going to causethem to derank! That must be horrible for them! They should really start playing more optimally in order to rank up as killer and get far better survivors and matches that are definitely much more fun and enjoyable!
Gens are still being worked on because it’s 4v1, not 1v1. It’s not as detrimental.
