Is Ruins Regression Halted By Repressed Alliance?

As the title suggests, does anyone know if Ruin's regression is halted by Repressed Alliance or not? Should it? I mean what is the point of Repressed Alliance if its ability to stop the Killer from regressing a generator is negated.

Yes, I believe all regressing gens are halted by an Entity Blocker.
I noticed it today while versing a Ghostface with Thrilling Tremors. The generator stopped regressing when the Entitle took hold of it.

Really? Weird, when I run Dead Man's Switch, I don't pay attention to it, but regressing gens from ruin seem to go about their regression?

If the gen gets blocked by the Entity the regression stops so yes. Peanits confirmed it in a thread that ask quite the same thing
Any perk/effect that blocks generators also blocks regression as it pauses all effects that are on the generator.
Think perks that block generators as putting them into stasis for the duration of the effect.

That fizzle sound after the Survivor was taken off the gen does that mean regression is happening or is not? Not quite sure what I'm supposed to be looking for to see if a blocked gen is regressing or not.
The regressed animation is there but I don't see it regressing or the second piston would have lost its power sooner.
The piston, Ruin regresses it by 200% so if it was regressing the 2nd piston would lose power really fast since it barely started moving before I took her off the gen.
But it wasn't losing power, it wasn't regressing.
I forget where the quote is the peanits has confirmed that all regression is prevented while a generator is blocked.
dammit my ruin + dead mans switch combo is useless and I thought I was being smart
yeah i was thinking about that but then peanits dropped the bombshell honestly pausing the gen regression cause its block is the dumbest thing ever done
