Why was Aura-Reading included to the Lightborne perk?

I have no issue with a little extra with no drawback but it's been lingering in my thoughts as to why it was added.

Was it to track down survivors that ditch after a "failed" flashlight save, punish the clickers during a chase, maybe a secret buff to Nurse after being light burned?

Wait, are you saying Lightborne will help me SEE an AURA now that I can't SEE ANY DAMNED AURA's? HELLLL yes.

I'd wondered if it did but hadn't had a chance to try it out yet. Currently auras are so dark/dim as to make BBQ nearly useless for finding survivors and even finding hooks has become problematic. (Survivors have told me they can't find totems that easily anymore and that's the first good news I've heard!)

I've found that it really helps around loops when people trying to blind you at pallets. 6 seconds of aura reading is actually a really long time, enough for you to break a pallet and cut someone off at a loop because you have wallhacks instead of being completely blind.
