Not all people with the Globe Icon is Console 🤦

I hate seeing people say "I hate console players, they are so bad" when they see the globe icon. It's so annoying, you know people play on Windows Store and Stadia right? In fact, DBD is free when you have game pass and a lot of people play on Windows and or Stadia.
Stop it

My eyes are a bit bad, is the globe icon what appears BEFORE a character's name, or after it? I assume before, with the circular object after a player's name being their prestige.
I think it appears berfore
Well if you are on PC....
Then, depending on whether you're playing on Steam, EGS, Stadia, Microsoft Store, it's just someone who didn't buy the game in the same online store you did.
This people wont stop anyway. Some people like to think that they belong to a superior group. And others just need a excuse why they lost.
The Venn diagram of those groups is a perfect circle.
They can hate on me as much as they want I'll keep showing them how console player destroys pc player because saying console is bad is just excuse for them sucking at game when they're on pc because they gotta blame someone for their own mistakes
I mean, it is a fact that controllers are worse than mice for aiming, but better than keyboards for precise movements.
A keyboard is still better than a controller when it comes to movement. Less input delay.
You're talking about overall movement, which is highly contextual. That means you can't categorically state that one is better than the other.
I'm specifically talking about precise movements, where a controller is better than a keyboard, due to one being digital and the other analog.
I play on gamepass and people are almost always shocked to see me type after a match.
They also take the opportunity to share whatever invective they have saved up.
I can count the amount of globes that've talked in chat on one hand.
What exactly would change if we instead said "I hate globe players, they are so bad"? It barely matters whether they play on console or not, all globes have the same properties, at least according to my experience.
Today I've met a "globe gamer" who cooperated with the killer (another "globe gamer", probably his friend), and after only I and he left alive he led the killer to me, teabagged and unhook-spammed me until I died. I've never seen anything like this in my entire experience in DbD. I mean I've seen enough trolls and sandbaggers, but this is something new. This is console tier (or "globe tier", if you wish) trolling or something. After that I don't even know what to think about all these "globe gamers". They seem like a completely different and yet unexplored form of life, to be honest.
It's pretty stupid that they judge players based on what they play with, si I wouldn't worry too much about their opinion.
Everyone hates those on a system different than theirs lol, it's just console and PC are majority.
🖐🏽By the way, I am probably one console player adding to the grief (not very good, sorry).
This. I think since I started to play in October 2020, I've seen two.
The platform itself has nothing to do with this. What matters is the fact that people with globes in their names often play worse than rank 20's without them. And those console players somehow have decent ranks. They do crap like running straight to the killer and standing still in front of him, missing one skillcheck after another, don't heal even if you crouch in front of them, don't let others heal them, go for unhooks in from of the killer while injured, etc. If a rank 20 PC player crouches in the bushed in the corner of the map for the whole game, a rank 10 console player just runs into his own death while screaming YOLO. That's why I love being matched against console players when I play killer. 4 globes almost always equal to 4 easy kills.
Generally speaking, a keyboard is superior to a controller. Less input delay allows for snappier movements.
That said, I can imagine controllers being better for racing type games.
I have over 1k hours and I can still count the number of stadia/window store players who used chat on one hand.
Not everyone wants to type in chat
Both have disvantages and avantages however playing on certain platform doesn't make u good just because those who hate play on pc doesn't make them good or better than me sure it's easier for them to learn takes less skill than console skill level however once I mastered it on console I can deal with any pc easily
Damn Globers...
And within that, controller has more potential to be inconsistent between games due to different response curve settings, as well as per-function coding (like Trickster & Deathslingers forced reduced sensitivity). Plus snappier movement is better than precise movement in a game that's mostly about move speed and positioning. The only issue M&K really sees between games is forced mouse acceleration.
DbD is hot garbage on controller compared to other games.
