Wraith’s “all seeing” blood, add on

Considering how good wraith is right now and this add on gives no negatives like scratched mirror Myers and Amanda’s letter piggy, I don’t think it should be this strong with zero drawbacks. You can’t even play immersed if you’re bad at looping when he can just walk around the map at Mach speed and easily find survivors trying to hide. You can use it at a survivor camping a pallet and you’ll be at a huge advantage since you can read their every move. Anyone else feel the same?

No. You're just telling us that you can't loop and camp pallets. Get good before complaining.
Not to mention that Amanda's letter and scratch mirror aren't worth running outside of meme builds.
I think it needs a nerf or changed.
He definitely doesn't need something like that anymore. He can hold his own now.
He is overpowered in every way imaginable. Too fast, free hits, and add-ons are wallhacks.
I think its fine where it is, its value is that it offers Wraith a solution to stealth at the cost of a Very Rare Add-on. Very Rare add-ons should be pretty powerful. However I'd be willing to settle by making it an iri offering and switch it with the claxcombed clapper.
He's not too strong. He's way stronger than what he used to be aka not trash tier anymore. He's in a good state right now.
It definitely needs to be changed its too strong with no down sides and 12m is pretty big with how fast he moves.
How are you suppose to loop a killer that can see your every move?
But where’s the drawback though? It’s wall hacks and wraith has really good mobility unlike scratched mirrors Myers and Amanda’s letter piggy
It's a pretty strong addon by today's standards, but that's because addons have been getting weaker and more cautiously implemented. Take a look at Billy's addon pass as an example - near-everything that gives him something noticeably good now takes something important away. Good steering? More penalty. Faster chainsaw? You're a 110% now. I don't like this and I don't think this should be the standard... but by that standard, 12m wallhacks when you're not in a chase doesn't add up.
I'd rather not see it go, and I quite like the effect it has on the game - and of course the tradeoff is that he can't use it while actually chasing someone, only locating - but I can see how it doesn't line up anymore. Pig has the same addon as an iridescent with a load of drawbacks that make it basically not worth using. That power level sure as hell isn't the right answer either, and I'd be horrified if they made that the standard, but Wraith might need the power or versatility of his reduced. Possibly a slowdown to uncloaking, so that its use is less oppressive and he can't use it mid-chase once at certain tiles?
But I'd hate to see it completely removed or reworked - All-Seeing Spirit, too. I think Wraith has one of the best addon sets in the game. Simple enough to be easy to understand, lots of varieties, lots of different playstyles. Few that are actually useless. Him being able to wallhack suits him perfectly - it's the magnification of all of his perks. He's meant to be a tracker.
OP specifically called out that those add-ons have drawbacks. New Wraith + All Seeing also usually doesn't need to care about how well a survivor loops.
Those add-ons are bad, like really bad, if you're not playing a meme build. With Pig you lose 3/4 of her power to delay the game or kill survivors and you have to be crouched to use it, with Myers, you can't tier up to use his instadown, and you can't chase because you're slower than a survivor. There's a reason nobody uses those add-ons seriously.
I personally think if you can see through walls there should be some sort of drawback. I get those two are bad but it’s for a reason
I disagree, I think add-ons should not come with a major downside, unless they severely alter how the game is played. Such as the infinite tier 3 myers or the tombstone that lets him insta-kill a survivor.
Eh. Drawback, yes, drawback so bad that nobody touches the addon outside of meme games or weird livestream builds, no. Addons should never take more than they give. I don't get why every killer has to have a useless brown meme addon, but at least they're supposed to be like that. When you get purples and iridescents that are in never-used territory because they cause worse problems than they solve or grant virtually no benefit to the killer? That's not balance, that's bad design. They're clearly not supposed to be like that.
As said before, nobody uses Amanda's Letter because it guts the bigger part of her power, and while Jumpscare Myers is a fun build, it pretty much has to be used in indoor maps because Myers cannot catch up to anyone like that, much less loop them. 105% and no lunge - on an outdoor map, he's never going to touch a survivor who's paying attention to their surroundings. It's always Lery's or Hawkins offerings with Spooky Myers because he's hobbling himself otherwise.
The difference between Wraith and your examples is the other two can immediately use the information. Wraith still has to uncloak. I'd argue it is one of his strongest add-ons, but not OP.
Ah yes, big disadvantage that Wraith has to uncloak and gets to use his insane Lunge. Poor Wraith.
@Topic:
Yeah, this Add On can be tuned down a bit. I see it quite frequently (which means: Around half of the Wraiths I have seen so far used it, but I dont go against Wraith that much, so it is not really annoying currently), I guess, because Windstorm is not needed anymore, which gave room for other Add Ons. (Or, it could be a coincidence)
And seeing this Add On on a regular basis might be too much.
Not even one of his best add ons. So eh
That’s not fair. Everybody has different skill sets. I have been playing this game for YEARS and I still don’t consider myself particularly competent at chases. I may manage to keep a killer occupied, or juke them entirely once in a blue moon, but I’ve come to accept that no matter how much I practice, chases will never be a strong skill for me.
To the OP, I know exactly how you feel. I absolutely HATE Wraith, Myers, and Pig’s aura reading add ons. It’s so crappy they have the ability to sneak up Undetectable but easily see where survivors are.
It’s the reason I still regularly use Sole Survivor, despite how the community perceived that perk.
Sure it sucks when a team mate dies, and I DO try to prevent that from occurring if particular survivors aren’t a waste of my time, but having 1 Sole Survivor token is a HUGE relief against these killers using their aura reading add ons.
Already complained, already received loads of scorn from killer mains.
Don't fall for sluzzy posts they are pretty much dbd clickbait posts where they just find some popular opinion and say the opposite, and while it used to be pretty funny they over did it, take what they say with a grain of salt
I mean its a decent addon and all but wraith does have some better options
bone clapper + most any other addons but ghost can work decently
coxcombed clapper + ghost
shadowdance (either) + serpent
uncloak speed removing 0.24, 0.3, and 0.36 seconds from uncloak time is pretty good
windstorm making you move 5,7.5,10% faster
then all the way down past them we have all seeing, its mostly just a nice addon for information or rounding out a build but its pretty far from being extremely strong, and the downside is you have to be cloaked so no hitting survivors hopefully giving them a chance to react
If you think it's remotely OP or needs to be nerfed, you are bad at survivor. Period.
The same way you loop any killer. It's really not that hard.
I never said it was op and why are you being this rude?
Saying you're not good at a video game isn't rude.
Ok but like you don’t even know people on the forum. I addressed my opinion and I never called wraith op, attacked wraith mains yet here you are saying I’m “bad”.
But you’re making that claim on a pittance of evidence. Have you and the OP actually played any games together?
The OP admitting that ONE skill they’re not great at in the myriad of skills needed to play survivor does not immediately equate to someone being universally bad at video games.
I'm saying that if you're complaining in any way, shape or form about WRAITH of all killer, or any of his addons, there's something lacking in the skill department.
This isn't rude - it's hard fact.
