Pyramid Head bug?

I just went against a Pyramid main. I did VERY well in chases, however at the end of 2 of my chases I was hit via his power even though I stunned him both times.

Is this considered a bug? I realize this has been a thing for ages, but most PH's don't seem to know about it. I stunned the PH and a fraction of a second later his power still activates and hits me anyway. If so, shouldn't it be fixed? The killer knew about this and was never afraid to walk through pallets whilst using his power, knowing if he did get stunned he'd get the hit regardless.

The issue I have with this is that I am pretty much doomed if I do pull the pallet down and doomed if I don't, in these scenarios.

This isn't exclusive to PH. Huntress van do the same thing.

What happens is the PH releases him M2 attack JUST before the stun happens. So what occurs is that the animation is cancelled by the stun, however, this does NOT stop the attack in progress, so you're going to get hit.

It's not been patched, presumably because 1) It's insanely hard to do. And 2) the actual attack starts instantly, meaning there's no grace period to "cancel" it.
