Is part of Nemesis' power that he causes your game to crash?

Because the only times my game crashes are going against him. The constant ######### freezes every 15 seconds aren't bad enough, he literally causes a DC penalty.
Great job, guys. Last ######### chapter I buy.
Edit: I actually didn't get a DC penalty. Hmmmm. Disabling it for a specific killer?
