Visually Redesign The Swamp

Swamps are places of immense fertility that attract all forms of life, this fact makes them both interesting and dangerous to explore. I've never enjoyed nature more than in my time living next to a swamp. You'd think that such a place would translate well into the horror genre, and it absolutely does; Hatchet, Boggy Creek, and The Beyond make great use of the theme.

Dead By Daylight's swamp is another story. Its monochromatic brown palette, non-existent biodiversity and PS2-era tree models make it the most boring map in this game. For a wetland climate, it doesn't feel very wet either. The closest we get to a body of water is the mud from which the cattails grow. I hoped the Realm Beyond update would do something interesting to this place, but it's still the same pile of cattails and trees. Of all the maps, this one is in the greatest need of a redesign. More types of plants, some bugs, maybe an out-of-bounds creek. At the very least give it a bit more color, there is more to work with than dark brown.
