What's up with the lack of content in the recent updates?

I don't mean to sound entitled or anything, if something is going on at BHVR then I understand but recently it feels like there's been a lack of content lately. Today we got the Pinhead paragraph and thats about it. Barely any balance changes, no new map reworks, just nothing but Pinhead into the game. Before this update was the mid-chapter that brought us Trickster changes and pretty much nothing else, so what's the deal?

    The next Mid-Chapter will be a Paragraph that gives us a new survivor, so the chapter-chapter time period is giving us the same content. Especially if the mid-chapter comes with the next map rework.

    Arbitrary three month schedule and people will buy new DLC no matter how useless it is. Second time there's been an update only for killers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ or is there another besides Ghostface too?

    That´s just their release schedule. They are impressively slow with updates so this should not come as a suprise.

    Why make extra content when they can pump out a new Nea or Feng skin and people will buy it for almost $12 CAD.

    One skin is almost twice the price of the Pinhead "chapter". All you need to know.

    For some reason from what I have noticed is that balancing has been way slower now, as in back then we would get several changes, now we are getting effortless changes to killers that don't even show any real change besides making them less fun to face

    A map would have been appreciated as we are losing Hawkins imminently. Skill Based Match-Making is a significant part of the update though, even if we have to wait an extra day for it.

    They are running out of ideas and licenses

    And removing ST from the store in a few months doesn't look good

    I've noticed that besides bug fixes this chapter update literally has nothing going for it

    Wasn't everyone asking for a period without new content to focus on game health? This patch did have a lot of bug fixes and right now they seem to be focused on the SBMM which is going to be a huge deal for the game.

    Honestly, they need to slow down their chapter releases to put more focus on updates. It's long been evident they can't handle a 3-mo schedule. On top of that, the grind is ridiculous and ever-increasing; one of their updates could rework the perks to make them two tiers rather than three.

    I just checked the difference in the update between GhostFace and Hellraiser


    Ghostface's update changed the following

    -Swing Animations

    -Added a vfx for stuns (This was removed later)

    -Survivors turn their heads when interacting with things (This was either removed or just bugged and never fixed for some reason)

    -Added new requirements for fast vaulting, preventing fast vaults when hugging walls

    -Adjusted Killer Instinct

    -Reworked some character's hair

    -made darker cosmetics brighter

    -adjusted chase music volume (this was also removed later)

    -Yamaoka estate got a tile change

    -More obstacles spawn between objects on MacMillan estate

    -Removed Lerys vault rng

    -Changed the lightbringer, Benevolent, and evader emblem

    -Mettle of man was nerfed, Windows was buffed, streetwise was buffed, unbreakable nerfed

    -Pop goes the weasel was changed (this was changed again in the future)

    -territorial imperative was buffed, and enduring was revamped to only affect pallet stuns

    -Several bugs were fixed

    Hellraiser update however

    -Added sbmm

    -added new rank system

    -Buffed nemesis's tier 3 form to move faster when holding it

    -Buffed a few of nemesis's add-ons by increasing the length

    -added rank rewards

    -changed nemesis's daily ritual

    -several bug fixes

    -new pallet design
