No Network Connection vs. Disconnected From Host

Is there a difference between the two? My apologies if this is the wrong section. After 4 days (around 200 games) of playing, I got my first disconnect and then the next day another, but with a different message. I was just curious if it meant two different issues or if they were one and the same issue?

Yeah. Disconnected From Host normally means you've had a blip of some kind on your internet connnection that the game didn't like (Yes, even if your other stuff is working ok)
No Network Connection usually happens during steam maintenance, for example.
So does that mean Disconnected From Host happens on my end, while No Network Connection happens on the end of something else...? I use XBOX....
Yeah, usually. So No Network Connection, in your case, might mean an XBL issue.
It's not always like that, but it can happen.
Huh. Well that kind of stinks. At least I know it's not always coming from my end now, though. Thanks for the help!
do you know how long these steam maintenances happen.I have been having the Disconnected from host for around 3 days now.
Steam maintenance is every Tuesday night.
