Bloodlust tier 1 should be instant

When chasing the obsession, the killer should get instant tier 1 blood lust, this is to mainly help a lot of weak m1 killers, or even run a perk that does this in general so neod without the exposed.

Thincking being the obsession be more meaningful, I'd give the obsession 1.5x more blood points, and gives killers a chance against strong loops, or survivor sided maps a chance to get a hook, other benefit is killers who don't take obessions perks doesn't make obsession meaningless ever.

The survivors would know who the obsession is so would body block or protect to help as they know there easyier prey.

And only have 1 obsession a game unless a perk deviates as such, or untill a obsession is killed then switch it off

May say this will lead to more tunnelling, but I don't see people not tunnelling without it ? If a killer wants to tunnel there guna tunnel no matter the perks, killers or system in play they don't wait for your consent unfortunately.

    Terrible idea. With some perks you can change the obsession whenever you want and I think it can be abused?

    Isn't that the idea with the obsession mechanic in the first place? As it is being the obsession not only gives you no disadvantage whatsoever, but it actually helps out survivors since it tells the others they're free to rush gens since you're busy chasing someone else.

    I'd rather loops just be more balanced to where bloodlust wasn't necessary.

    It's a bandaid for bad map design.

    The Devs are closer to removing bloodlust than buffing it.

    They should fix maps first, then look to remove stuff. Just removing bloodlust right now in it's current state is a further Nerf to half the killers as a lot of them are basic killers with no catch up ability.

    No, that would break killers. They really just need to go in and rework every map and make sure the loops are fair for both sides. Then they should erase SBMMR and make a new one that includes more parameters such as hours played (someone who has only played 100 or less hours should never me matched with or against someone with 500 hours), escapes, kills, how often objectives are completed and how helpful they are as teammates and how fast a killer ends chases, how often a killer tunnels off hook and how often they camp.

    They should also remove some perks from new player level (beginner ranked) matches so new killers don’t have to deal with dead hard, BT, and boons and new survivors won’t have to deal with Ruin/Undying/NoeD/PoP until they get more experience and level up.
