Conversion rates

Not sure if this is supposed to be here?
But I just checked, and if people are paying 3.75 pounds for 500 auric cells... Converting that to euros, they would be payign 4.25 euros, while I have to pay 5 euros.
Meaning it is cheaper to pay in pounds?
Am I getting something wrong here? Isn't that a bit unfair then?

They answered it on twitter. Their official statement is that the 1 to 1 $ to € conversion rate is in line with the market standard. Look at other games and their microtransactions and prices and you see it's unfair everywhere. That's why it is like that.
Pretty much, other games rip Europeans off, so we will do the same.
Wow. That is gross.
So if I used a vpn and paid in Dollars , it would work out cheaper? I'm not fussy about a couple of euro but I do think it is unfair.
