Disabilty Support

I love Dead by Daylight. It’s very hard for me to find a game that’ll keep playing. Most of the time I’ll start a game and play through it a bit and stop. I want to see Dead by Daylight reach great heights. I’m deaf in both ears and I have a coaclear implant on my left side. I’ve noticed there are things I’m supposed to be hear that I cannot hear. Such as the terror radius of the killer or the footsteps of the survivors. I can’t even hear their groans of pain. I’m part of a Facebook group for the Playstaion version of the game and there are a lot of players who have a hearing disabilty. We all agree some form of visual would help us meet the level of average hearing people. Some  suggestions we came up with are a little visual heart beat like in “Identity V”, have the controller vibrate with the sound of the terror radius and the light on the controller flash, or some kind of heartbeat line (like seen at the hospital on the monitor).

Yes i I know there are perks that can “kinda of” help, but it is not the same. Spine Chill only works if the killer is facing you. He/she can be right next to me and I won’t hear the heart beat. Whispers is helpful, but as Spirit and Legion their powers require sound. I have yet to try the crow perk and I do know it’s getting reworked. The other perks are either teachable or aoura reading. I really do hope this gets looked at and brought positive attention.

I have a friend that also has this problem. They can't play the game in it's current state, which is saddening :(

There's also premonition, but once it activates, it's in a cooldown and useless to you. I have to wear headphones with DbD since I have a hard time hearing some low pitches, so I use premo to help compensate for that.

Did Sony not bring in the Bluetooth connector for the implants? I remember people were discussing it a time back?

This would be a massive help for the hard of hearing game community.

I never heard anything about that. Besides that won’t help the deaf. The only sound solution I can think of for survivor is to silence the generators, but not the skill check ding.

I tried Premonition and I got so confused about what sound it was supposed to make. Lol

I saw another post like this and I think it's a fantastic idea. I went more into detail on the other post about visual queues, like floating icons for directionals, and a heart icon for the terror radius. It would even be a fun challenge for players who can hear, and an interesting look in how others would have to play the game differently than they usually would. I hope to see this implemented!
