Suggestion for alternative matchmaking criteria that consider Perks, Items & Offerings
Players both killers and survivors select their Perks, Items, Addons & Offerings before the match and they are locked in.
No more last second loadout adjustments in the lobby
Players are matched based on the Perks, Items, Addons & Offerings that they have equipped in addition to their connection speed.
Some additional values for skill or previous experience could remain.
Loadout Points Example:
Perk Rank 1: 1 points
Perk Rank 2: 2 Points
Perk Rank 3: 3 Points
Ultra Rare: 5 Points
Very Rare: 4 Points
Rare: 3 Points
Uncommon: 2 Points
Common: 1 Points
New Player level 5 Example:
2 Rank 1 Perks: 2 Points
common item including two common addons: 3 Points
Uncommon offering: 2 Points
Total loadout points: 7
Experienced Prestige 3 Level 50 Player example
4 Rank 3 Perks: 12 Points
Very Rare Item including one Rare and one Very Rare addon: 11Points
Ultra Rare Offering: 5 Points
Total loadout points: 28
Even without considering the player skill level the equipped Perks, Items, Addons and Offerings could yield a reasonable value to determine how good of a match players are.
