I'm having this problem right now and I don't know what I can do :/

  • davincibrdavincibr Member Posts: 1

That´s absurd. We paid for the game a it does not work?

I´ll get in touch with everyone that is having this trouble and we are going to get our money back, it´s AGAINST the law and don´t mather the amount of money they´re stealing, it´s still a crime.

They are not giving a f... for us, are just 100% working in other things and ignoring the costumers with fancy answers that in the end mean (f*. you)

  • _realnicole_realnicole Member Posts: 1

This is new so I am not sure what is wrong, try sending it to the devs

Hey guys, i'm sure a lot of you have done your due diligence to attempt troubleshooting this issue. I attempted everything in my means to resolve, but with the help of a wonderful Dev found that a lot of times this issue is caused by needing the correct media pack install for your version of windows. Below is a site to lead to install. just figure out which you will need for your OS. Hope this helps. :)

As per the other comments in this thread, if you are using intel graphics, you need to roll back your driver to fix it.

Dead by Daylight does not officially support Intel GPU's. At all. Driver is here.

    https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2018/10/03/new-25201006323-intel-graphics-driver-for-windows-10-64-bit-6th-7th-8th-generation

If you are not using the intel GPU, I recommend starting a new thread with your full system specs listed.

It says I dont meet minimum requirements... I have an Intel graphics card 520. But I was still able to run the game.

What link is everyone talking about that fixed the game for them? I've had this issue for a few months.

The words "Access violation" makes me think 2 things:

    1. EAC is being stupid
    2. Some file or something is being protected and the game tried to use it

First, calm down with the language.

Second, just because you have a beastly PC doesn't mean it's not a problem with your machine or steam.

Third, please make a seperate post with your full tech specs, a log file, less language and we'll try to help.
