wow they're nerfing diamond stone

The bag buffs are nice, but was the diamond stone nerf really needed -__-

    The new honing stone is pretty much making up for the diamond stone change because the only way that they can be safely freed from the trap is with their teammates, This gives you more than enough time to get to them or hell even leave them in the trap if you want for a while 

    Exactly, no loss here friend. Don't know why you feel like it's a nerf. :O
    The new iridescent stone is so much better and now it's no longer rng whether or not the person is in dying state.

    As others said, the general idea of the diamond stone isn't going anywhere. I mean, it sorta is if other teammates free you out of the trap but otherwise you're now able to use the honing stone for the same thing which means a reduced rarity + a slightly lower price. If you think about it, iridescent stone + bloody coil can still be just as deadly of a combination anyways which would mean you're actually cutting off options no matter what.
    In a way, the honing stone could be better because if you think about it, if that person doesn't want to be instadowned then a teammate has to go out of their way to stop doing gens to save someone else before the killer gets them.

    it's not a nerf man. Paired with trappers other changes its a buff, on its own its a nerf.

    honestly... as a trapper main i never use the diamond stone. in my eyes its just useless, since 90% of the time someone walks into a trap when he gets chased. otherwise they wont really do that, since they have the time to check for traps, which renders the diamond stone useless in my eyes. the new iridescent stone on the other hand looks very usefull. you dont have to waste time by setting traps and you can also mindgame with it (survivor disarms trap, you loop him around the area and the trap reopens on its own -> survivor runs right into it)
    also the honingstone is the new diamondstone...

    I can't wait for the change. Gonna set my traps and then never have to worry about it. It's not even like they can keep them from rearming by sabotage because hangman's trick will make them recover in ten seconds. It's like permanently closing off certain spots on the map.

    Trapper main. Rarely do i see people freeing others from traps. So yeah. ... Not really a nerf.

    Trapper add ons are not getting a nerf, the one which opens up a trap every 20 seconds is actually really good

    That's sick. I hope it works that way. It'd awesome to have your saboed trap back and open again in 30 seconds.

    Diamond stone's current effect is being moved to the Honing Stone the purple version (the one that's currently 50% will be changed to 100%).
    EDIT: NVM just read one of the posts above mentioning it :)

    Hangman's Trick won't work like that. It will only reduce the time to 2 minutes instead of 3.
