Some suggestion for buffs and changes for surv.

First one: Letting survivors see the aura of generators passively/constantly like killers do.

It will help to close the gap between new and experimented surviors as well with solo and swf.

It might even incite newer/immersed player to go work on a gen now that they don't have to search for them.


Increasing the basic movement speed for walking, crouching and crawling.

Walking:50% to 70%

Crouching: 25% to 35%

Crawling: 12.5% to 25% bleed-out time is cut in half.


Running is the only viable way to move around. Walking is rarely used to try and juke/ mind-trick the killer ( same goes for crouch+urban evasion).

In my opinion this change will bring more variety in gameplay. As in, juke and mindgames might become more viable making "ring around the rosie" not so meta anymore( or so I hope.)


And the change to crawling is simply to nerf slugging without kicking this strat in the balls.


The last one is simply... is it possible to change the idle and crouch animation of the male characters so they can hide behind props? The female characters can easily hide behind most, if not all, props. I wondered why it never got talked about before.


Anyway, I'd wonder if any of you would like my ideas/suggestion so I wanted to post some of them!

    Back to the main thread @Juya :

    The generator auras aren't such a big deal, on most maps it's quite easy to find them. The only time I'd want generator auras are on Léry's. That map is so stupid.

    I agree with the walking speed, it should be a little buffed and it would also make me put on Sprint Burst more, I having to walk to save my Sprint Burst.

    But, tbh, I don't think it would change the meta much.

    I do not agree with the gen part, but the walking/crouching/crawling would be interesting especially since urban evasion people could crouch walk faster than normal walking.

    Not a fan of these changes, the gen auras is a big buff on indoor maps and also makes it near impossible for survivors to screw themselves by setting the killer up for a 3 gen.

    The crawl speed buff makes slugging way worse and is much more of a nerf to killers than a buff to survivors.


    Considering coordinated survivors are already the most powerful thing in the game im not really happy making any buffs to survivors that are not just closing the gap between solo players and swf.


    Survivors seeing the aura of gens other survivors have seen or worked on is fine. Survivors getting a kindred like ability built in like the devs have suggested is fine. Survivors seeing whenever another survivor is in a chase even if they are not the ob is fine. survivors flat out moving faster is not.

    Survivors don't need any of this though plus:

    There are perks and the map for Gen auras. Why give survivors the ability to see them as a base? They should HAVE to search for them, though once you know the game there isn't much searching.

    If you are only running around the map then you are bad tbh. If you increased the speed of how fast the Survivors move while walking/crouching things will just get done faster. And games are already done quickly enough as is.

    The Gen thing should not be a problem after some time. I mean, even new players can see them when they look up, the lights are pretty easy to spot.

    Only maps were it is difficult to find Gens are Lerys and The Game. For Lerys they had flashing lights in one of the PTBs, but it did not make it to live because of Bugs. This would help a lot.

    Give and take buddy. You cant just say survivours needs buffs thats just stright up inaccurate. Survivours are the stronger role on average.

    No changes to pallet limits? Fixing existing obnoxious structure loops? Regression on gens increased? Until you relent certain advantages it makes no sense to just blindly buff survivours.

    I like the walking and the change to the male character idea's the gen one is a no for me though.

    Not sure if this is ment serious or just trolling, anyway i bite :D


    Survivor dont need a buff in any way, especially the walking faster buff is completly insane and will brake the game. If you implement something like that, there has to be nerfs on other fronts like running only 85-90% speed.

    If there is anything that has to be buffed, then it would be some of the killers like trapper or freddy.

    And no, i am not only playing killer, currently tending even more towards Survivor.

    its like saying nurse with omegablink with some insane perks can break the game pfff you dont realise anything how solo survivors needs buffs

    I understand where you are coming from, but that gen part will render perks like Deja Vu useless and would encourage gen rushing (which is annoying enough for killers anyway).
