We have been investigating cases of distributed denial of services (DDoS) over the last week. We take these reports extremely seriously. We're actively monitoring the situation internally and with our partners to gather as much information as possible and identify trends.

We are terribly sorry to those who have been affected by these attacks- we understand the impact this has on you. We are taking every appropriate measure to ensure the safety of our players.

We encourage our players to report to us any cases of DDoS, as well as any other form of inappropriate or abusive behaviour in the game. In the meantime, we encourage you to stay safe and follow best practices for online safety.

Potential fix for Ghostfaces perks

I'm all ears:

Current:

  • Any Survivor performing a rushed action within 48 meters will have their Aura revealed to you for 6 seconds. I'm All Ears can only be triggered once every 60/50/40 seconds.

Fixed:

  • Any Survivor performing a rushed action within 32/40/48 meters will have their Aura revealed to you for 6 seconds.

No cooldown. The effect is not strong enough to require one.

Thrilling tremors:

Current:

  • After picking up a Survivor, all Generators not being repaired by Survivors are blocked by The Entity and cannot be repaired for the next 16 seconds.
  • Affected Generators are highlighted by a white Aura.
  • Thrilling Tremors can only be triggered once every 100/80/60 seconds.

Fixed:

  • After picking up a Survivor, all Generators not being repaired by Survivors are blocked by The Entity and cannot be repaired for the next 20 seconds.
  • Affected Generators are highlighted by a white Aura.
  • Thrilling Tremors can only be triggered once every 80/60/40 seconds. The cooldown starts immediately after picking up the survivor.

Increased duration slightly and reduced cooldown by 20 seconds. While this perks effect DOES make sense to have a cooldown, 60 seconds is far too long. 40 is much better.

Fugitive chase:

Current:

  • When your Obsession is hooked, Furtive Chase receives a Token, up to a maximum of 2/3/4 Tokens.
  • Each Token decreases your Terror Radius by 4 metres while in a Chase.
  • When a Survivor rescues the Obsession from a Hook, the rescuer becomes the Obsession. You lose all Tokens if the Obsession is sacrificed or killed.

Fixed:

  • When your Obsession is hooked, Furtive Chase receives a Token
  • Each Token decreases your Terror Radius by 6 metres while in a Chase and make it take 1/2/3 seconds longer for a chase to end.
  • When a Survivor rescues the Obsession from a Hook, the rescuer becomes the Obsession.

Removed the token maximum, increased the decrease effect, remove the tokens being lost on obsession death (seriously, even STBFL doesn't do that). Also added an additional effect so you can actually make use of the damn perk for something. Like really, the way the perk is now the effect really just doesn't matter. Yeah you could remove the out of chase thing but then you remove what the perk is about and make it far more boring. More interesting this way than to have a flat TR reduction, but still the chase needs to be extended in order for it to have any uses outside of extremely niche builds.
