Not really. I asked if they're planing on doing something with struggle mechanic (which was a "no for now") and if they plan on adding lootboxes too, which was a sort of "no to maybe" answer.

Both were questions we basically already knew the answers too. I was hoping for something more.. concrete in terms of answers.

Like what? What exactly were you expecting them to tell you? It says at the top they can't discuss new features. They won't tell you exactly what they are doing because that will probably change by the time it comes out.

It's like asking Kevin Fiege exactly what is going to happen in phase 4. Obviously he doesn't know exactly what will happen and even if he did he's not going to tell you. Expecting an answer is just silly.

And your second question was very obnoxious the way you asked. Like you were baiting them into admitting they are cheating customers out of money or something. If you knew the answer then you are just asking to troll them. Obviously you have a grudge against how they choose to handle DLC and microtransactions. Again, what do you expect them to say to a baited question like that?

and even after all this, they say they aren't planning on adding lootboxes in a paid form.

and then he comes in here and disingenuously tells everyone it was a "no to maybe" answer. It was a flat out no paid lootboxes.

If they say when something is coming, they get slated, look at Dedicated servers, the majority of people don't even know when summer ends and there's already been posts saying "summers over when dedicated". They don't give uncertain release dates because it's too much hassle if something is delayed.

Crunch is a serious issue in the industry and anyone pushing for more dates for stuff like this is adding to it, I know BHVR recently said they abolished crunch in their company which is probably why they don't like giving dates out for anything anymore.

I think the problem people have with "diplomatic" answers is that they aren't really answering anything.

    For example:

Do you plan on balancing the game around SWF?

    Either be:

Yes, we plan on making gens take longer or stop many gens from being worked on at once or adding power spike that drops progress on all gens when at least one gets finished or something of sorts.

No, we don't see it as a problem.

Even if they are just ideas and if they would need to sit on PTB for ages while you work out details and balance, they actually answer questions.

Sorry but "We are looking into it" or "We always have it in mind" don't hold much of a value. Even freddy rework as an example was "being worked on" and "released soon" for over a year.

Phantom hits with killer animation playing as if they hit a survivor while survivor runs uninjured are big issues that are being looked into for ages now.

Usually such Q&A's are done with person that is actually deciding on such things and he/she can explain his vision of the game and how it is supposed to look months from now. Meanwhile most of the answers we got could have very well been answered by someone completely green in the topic(with few exceptions mind you).
