We are aware and looking into the issue which caused players to have their rank reset further than intended. If your rank was not reset at all this month, this is a visual bug and closing and re-opening the game should fix it.

No Network Connection

Don't you just love it when you get into a game and you're ready to play, especially after waiting forever to find a match. All of a sudden the screen goes black, the game has now informed you that you have no network connection. So you proceed to check your network connection, it's working just fine. So you try to play another game, and before the game can start, it tells you again, no network connection. So you close the application to see if maybe that was the problem. And once again No network connection. I keep losing add-ons and offerings because of this, and it's happening more often now. Please resolve this issue soon, I just want to play Dead by Daylight.

    What platform? If you're on PC, do you have logs? Support might wanna see that. :)

    I can't play as the killer on my ps4 because of this problem 🤷🏻‍♂️ it's happened since the last update

    Still happening to me, has been for over a month. I can only get through about one game before it starts. PS4

    If you're on console, then you really need to be submitting support tickets.

    The ONLY thing I can recommend, if everything else works, is to wire your PS4 to your router. Don't use wifi because wifi doesn't seem to play nice with DbD (even on PC, in my experience). But support can check if there's any issues with PSN/XBL connecting to their services (which can also be on a regional basis, just FYI)

    I’ve been researching this issue for about a month for my brother and I haven’t seen one known solution. He’s been able to play for close to a year, as have I and randomly he can’t play probably two months before the stranger things patch due to it telling him he has no network connection. If it does let him into a game it typically loses connection saying the same thing. We’ve sent in ticket and they respond apologizing for the latency issue, which this is not, and say that there is an unknown time frame until they are in “tip top shape”. We just want to play the game. This is unacceptable. We just want to play with the new content. What’s the point of reporting the issue if they aren’t going to address the problem. At least use more than a generic email that includes incorrect grammar. I work at a game store and I’m afraid to sell this game to people.

    Going by some other posts on here, make sure your router is running NAT Type 1. That seems to help a lot.
