Just had a match with 4 survive with friends noobs running OOO. Couldn't mindgame one single time and they all escaped, most boring trash match of all times. Going to play facecamp bubba now. Nice perk by the way LUL

    What killer were you playing? From what you say I think Wraith, Ghost Face or Pig.

    OoO is one of the most useless/hard perk to use. Don't get so salty believe me it'll most likely never happen again.

    if anything killers need a nerf. Why should you be able to choose someone like Wraith who is invisible AND doesn’t give off a heartbeat? Nonsense. All killers should give a heartbeat or some indication they’re coming to give survivor a chance to hide. Whether It be seeing your aura while looking your direction, heartbeat, whatever. Killers have too much speed too in my opinion. Friday 13th Jason relies on powers not speed. So why the hell are killers so damn fast in this game? Invisible too? Can move about with no audio cue? Get outtaaaa here. That’s not fun, would be one thing if you can get away easily but surviving shouldn’t be about abusing pallets or juking the killer all the damn time. Stealth is a huge element and needs to remain that way. Get caught , penalty of death sure! But to get caught because killers are totally undetectable - ridiculous and unfair.

    Besides, you whiny killers only have 4 survivors to worry about. Jason in Friday 13th has more survivors on his plate and counter all the different ways they can escape

    Object of Obsession is one of those annoying meme perks that mostly toxic survivors run. It's not something you see frequently, and honestly a game with all 4 survivors running it means they're just going to give you trouble or dick around. Make the best of it and move on. I can't remember the last game I played where I encountered that perk, since it's so rarely used..

    I feel you haven't been playing DbD for too long, which is absolutely fine. When I first started, I also thought killers were extremely OP (compared to F13 at least) until I realized they weren't.

    Not all killers rely on speed the way that you think. Plus, survivors have windows and pallets to use to their advantage. The longer the killer takes chasing someone, gives the rest of the team the opportunity to work on gens and get stuff done.

    On F13 on the other hand, as a survivor, you can't do anything until you actually go around the map and explore, open drawers, search for batteries/petrol so you could finally work on objectives.

    Also, another huge difference between DbD and F13 is that on F13 the killer's power progress with time (the longer the match, the stronger the killer gets so there are a lot of potential to snowball at the end game) and you're allowed to kill people as soon as you grab them, unless they have pocket knife or if they are saved by other survivors.

    On DbD, killer's powers do not progress unless you use add-ons for your weapons or use certain perks (and even so the benefits are very subtle) and to kill someone, you have to hook the same person 3 times.

    I could spend hours talking about the difference between both games but that would not be productive.

    I think you should play killer more often. Not only you will realized how difficult the role is but also it can improve your skills as survivor.

    what you’re saying is true to an extent. Maybe I haven’t played long. But I have played as wraith and after that experience I felt being invisible without a heartbeat indicating my arrival is a bit too much. Gives you a good scare though 😂 but still, after being hit, pallets aren’t enough sometimes. And windows, don’t get me started on those death traps. They slow you down for a moment and then you Can still get whacked by the killer through the window. So many times I’ve vaulted through a window, my feet hit the ground on the other side and then the killer swings at the window and lands a hit from inside the room I just vaulted out of. So all those do is MAYBE give you a chance of breaking lines of sight. But not really. Doctor doesn’t need to be able to spam shock waves that give away everyone’s position either. Put a lengthy cool down on that. Games like this are supposed to be all about being stealthy. I can see what you mean by people working on gens while one acts as a distraction, but I’ve been in so many games where no gens get done because players want to save the guy on the hook and the killer just camps the hook. Team of 4 communicating when that happens seems almost necessary 100% of the time you play as a survivor. There’s almost no pressure for killers to hunt the other survivors and keep them off generators. Some people that do that as killer have No respect for other players time. One Guy had the nerve to tell me “I was teaching you a lesson” by watching me writhe and squirm on the ground last alive 😂 that Becomes frustrating. There should be a suicide option for that lol get the match over with, sheesh. but Killers have the capability of being too efficient sometimes. Maybe throw some hatches in there to hide in because lockers seem obvious most of the time. Some Maps also seem a bit small. You can’t cram all those time consuming generators and a killer in a small place and incorporate a stealth element to your game with all the other unavoidable killer abilities that reveal your position at the same time. So the Killer being in your face as soon as you spawn in seems ridiculous. Wait times can also be ridiculous to play due to host crashes or lack of people playing (maybe?) just to finally load in and get chased right away. People back out after going down. That’s a problem. You shouldn’t have to use an offering every time you want to spawn furthest away from the killer. Make him hunt for his kills.

    Besides in Friday 13th you can actually kill the killer or stun lock him. This game, stun almost has little effect. The most productive stun is the 5 second one you can cause from decisive strike. Stuns in this game mostly don’t give ample time to escape. You leave tracks when you run and bleed so you’re just Going to get chased again.

    ABOUT A ######### WRAITH?

    Wraith is literally one of top 5 worst killers. Yeah, Coxcombed Clapper Wraith can be pretty annoying, but this is an Iri addon, you rarely ever see that in game.

    The most important ability while playing wraith is freaking BODYBLOCKING. Bodyblocking on a stealth killer. Otherwise you are not going to catch anyone because they will make it to a pallet/window before you uncloak.

    If this perk were to be nerfed, I think a fair way to do it would be to simply inform the killer when he’s being watched. Like the red Boil Over horse icon at the bottom, make a red OoO icon appear anytime the perked survivor looks at you.

    Even if you don’t see where their aura is, you can strategically change direction so as to invalidate any info they may be sharing. Furthermore, you’ll know it’s out there so you can start scanning around as you patrol.

    I’ve seen some pretty good wraiths. I think it’s just the fact that wraith has a tendency to get the jump on people too easy due to zero heartbeat and invisibility. I’m sorry, was there a perk that allows me to see invisible killers at all times? No. It’s the concept that seems a little OP. Considering the fact that killers are fast enough to keep up with survivors and there are a lot of debris or trees that allow killers to quickly cut off survivors and finish them off. Jason in F13 is slow as hell and his teleports are predictable. What reason does this game have for killers being as fast as they are? Idk but it’s a bit much. Survivors aren’t getting through that window before wraith uncloaks that’s a lie. Killers can wack them as they’re vaulting through and even once they step foot on the other side, killers have range. So many times I’ve stepped foot on the other side of a window and a killer swings at the window from inside the room and lays me out. It’s ridiculous. Survivors need to be able to stun longer OR run faster. Pallets are not enough and windows are unreliable.

    Like I’ve said before, killers shouldn’t feel entitled to get any kills during a match. I think it’s too easy. My friends have played killer and he says it’s too easy. I agree.

    There’s not enough places to hide, the game has very little to do besides repair 5 LONG and NOISY generators. I think there needs to be more pressure on killers to not camp survivors on hooks. A perk or some kind of automatic repair speed boost the game gives people that are working on generators as Long as the killer is within a certain radius of a hooked survivor.

    Whiny killers That don’t like it when survivors complain they’re only surviving like 5% of the time because killers are getting too efficient and just wanna come in and slay all 4 survivors every game. That’s 1 person in your game having fun and 4 people not having fun. 1/5 isn’t really good for the game. Throw in Some hatches to hide in maybe. If killer wants to invest time searching hiding locations make it cost him because As of right now there’s too little /very obvious amounts of lockers in the game.

    Killer can see the survivor with OoO, and Wraith/GF/Mikey/Pig counter OoO completely; I  think its perfectly ok where it is.

    I think all killers definitely need their speed lowered a little. They don’t need to be flying around the map laying people out. Something....even if it’s just ONE thing they add that helps survivability and evasion. Whether it’s 1) slower killers 2) something anti invisibility/no heartbeat 3) anti hook camping - I mean, come on we only practically have 2 hooks until dead not 3 because most of the time the entity kills me instantly 2nd time around. Let alone killers might as well watch you struggle if that doesn’t happen.

    Slower killers? Learn to loop and use pallets. Anti invisibility/heartbeat? Spine chill or premonition anti-hook camping? Death strike/Death hard. The game is already survivor sided.

    1. You can see Wraith when he is moving, he is just very hard to see.
    2. You can see AND hear him while he uncloaks.
    3. Killers have to be faster than surviviors, because surviviors can use vaults and pallets... And all the "derbis" helps surviviors not Killers, you just have to plan your route properly. You sound like someone who doesnt know how to loop and just runs in a straight line...
    4. If you watched any high rank matches of Wraith, then you would see how important bodyblocking is and how hard it is for Wraith to uncloak at a right time.
    5. And no, its not ridiculous, Killers attack range is the same as vault distance, just move 10 cm forward and killer cant hurt you. If you look at the length of their weapons, you will see that it makes sense. Also keep in mind that lags affect both sides, so sometimes you get hit through a window even though you were far enough, and sometimes the killer will hit the window frame because of bugged animation enchancement.

    We got this guy saying a suicidal perk needs a nerf and another guy saying killers need nerfs because being stealthy and fast are too OP. I'm so proud of this community.

    Devs said they dont want a M1 simulator, but it seems like they preffer a bully the killer simulator, OoO its only ballanced if u are not playing against friends, but the real problem its that the game it supposed was going to be an horror game but as survivor im not even nervous, just run to a safe infinte. But as killer, SWF survivors are the most toccic players, they inssults the killer if they lose & if they win too.

    If you come expecting to be in a slasher adapted into a video game and want things handed to you that's probably not the best game indeed. All OoO SWF are just there to make you feel anxious about being watched, that's not the goal of the perk to begin with so don't give them this satisfaction. Also there is no such things as safe infinites anymore.

    Okay I gotta stop you on number 3 when you say killers have to be faster than survivors. Not really if they’re starting to have abilities that can easily catch people off guard. They land first hit and it’s not like I can stun or defend myself so you just get chased down so easily. Pallet looping is stupid man and that’s not the only way people should be playing this kind of game 😂 that’s not fun as this game is already just a bunch of pushing RB and LB on everything so that’s the last thing I want to do. stealth and survival activities are a big part of what makes this game fun too, being able to supply up and defend yourself ... but the killer always HAS to find someone immediately right? Game won’t be fun for killers if they don’t find their first prey 5 seconds into spawning in right? Lmao. Whatever man. Oh and to comment on NUMBER 3 Killers can use vaults as well. They can in fact hit you through the window as your vaulting through even once you step foot on the other side. It’s happened so many times, so consistent. Very frustrating. I do realize you can see a hazy outline of Wraith but that’s not enough most of the time and even if that’s enough to make some kind of impact to top it off he’s got no heartbeat. Once he uncloaks not having enough time to strike is a horrible defense. He’s already got the jump and will catch you. In fact, he can use it to block you in a corner and beat you down. I’m sorry but there should be times when even the best killers can’t do anything to survivors. You know it’s bad when you go into a game and the killer is taking it easy on the survivors. I know that because he even sends a message afterwards telling me I felt like letting you guys live. Smh.... you felt like it? Sheesh...

Can you do well with wraith, yes. But why would you point out wraith out of the list of killers?     Yes, killers have to be faster, because its the survivior that is in control of the chase path, and he can use vaults and pallets however he wants.

    Are we really playing the same game? Looping is the only chase tactic because ITS THE MOST EFFECTIVE, and when first invented, it was so strong that loops had to be nerfed severly. If you dont like pallet looping then go play that F13 instead of whining about one of the weaker killers.

    Stealth and survival are used BEFORE the killer finds you, or, if you are skilled enough, can also be used in a chase. But killers like Wraith are obviously the killers you shouldnt stealth against, because STEALTH focused killer obviously has better STEALTH than some survivior.

    And countering Wraith is not hard, as soon as you see him decloak (or hear, then look for him), use his reduced speed while decloaking to gain distance, if you cant, then dodge his decloak lunge, and then just use Sprint Burst/Lithe/Balanced Landing/Pallet/Window/Head On to gain distance and then just behave like in a normal chase.

    Yeah we’re talking about the same game. The game where the killer only has to worry about 4 survivors with limited retries and a lot of work to do. All I’m saying is they should definitely implement something to counter hook camping. Repair speed increase for all other survivors while killer is within a certain radius of hooked individual really doesn’t sound like a bad idea 🤔
