Random Crashes

Okay, so my dbd is having a TON of issues. I'm about to rip my hair out attempting to fix them, but nothing seems to work. I've got an AlienWare laptop, so I don't really see what's causing all the issues. Any help would be super appreciated. No Viruses can be detected on the laptop either.

Issue: My game crashes randomly. The reasons are vastly different every time, and it seems to be localized to this game only. I get a crash report when it happens that says something along the lines of this every time:

Fatal error: [File:Unknown] [Line: 200] Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0005 - 'REMOVED')

So, I tried a few fixes. I downloaded the GeForce Experience. This "optimized" my game by making the graphics go to medium. After this supposed fix, I tried to play the game and then my screen went black, but the game kept playing. Like I could move around and hear things happening to me and everyone around me. It just shut off the screen basically. Moving around caused the screen to go a dark blue from time to time as well.

Before this fix, I also tried to lower the GPU settings via an outside program, but that didn't work either.
