At least I can justify my camping. When 3 gens pop before I hook someone, I'm going to lean back in my chair and take it easy on myself. This killer is going to play stress free regardless.
I'm pretty sure there are people like me who don't mind actually trying to adapt in place of the Killers who refuse. I need to get better anyway, might as well try different builds.
It's funny tho that ds, bt, adrenaline are perks designed to counter unfun killer tactics. Camping and tunneling. Adrenaline is a risk because your probably playing injured all game and hence a 1 hit down .
Ruin nerf will just seperate the really good killers from the ok ones that were crutching on it. So you lose a few ranks but they'll settle where they belong eventually.
People relied on [insert meta surviv perk here] too much. Sometims I feel like suvivors should learn how to not rely on it and use thr perks that relate to extending the chase.
That's true though. BL got nerfed for this reason.
BL got nerfed because it had a major secondary effect that was active even with the exhaustion debuff on you, and broke several maps. It's like if Sprint Burst always made your base running speed 105% or if Lithe made it so you can fast vault windows without the runup.
Yes ruin is also a passive effect that requires no iq.

Ruin has always been over rated. On both ends.. Its was not THAT hard to work through. And ill normally clean all totems before the second gen. (Bye noed too) And well as killer i find it much easier and worthwhile to control gens and make u gen lock. And u. Come to me. Its a useless perk in my eyes more so now....

BL was nerfed because it gave a passive that no other exhaustion perk does. All they did was make it in line with other exhaustion perks, also BL made some loops essentially infinites.
The devs are putting ruin in line with other hex perks in terms of early game potential.

Adrenaline is absolutely not a response to unfun killer play. Perk is just obscenely strong. DS is sort of anti tunneling, but also survivors are dicks and will unhook each other literally in front of the killer without BT. That isn't the killer tunneling, your teammate is just bad. You almost have to protect yourself from other survivors moreso than the killer if you wanna play solo. BT being anti camping is meh. There are situations where you should camp. Last gen is almost done, hooked a survivor nearby, no need to leave that spot for at least 40 seconds(to check the other gens), especially if survivors are running around you like chickens with their heads cut off.
If they said they were nerfing BL to make loops less annoying for newer killers would that make the other reason any less true. Recognize the double standard.

Since you feel that way I'm a Killer Main they should nerf dead hard, Iron Will, Dstrike, Borrowed time, Head on and Adrenaline the more people complain about it it'll happen.
Went up against a Hag today on PS4... Ruin stayed up the entire match... we all did the gens just fine. I didn't even see any gen tapping, and the entire match was all grey and brown ranks.
It wasn't even annoying to work through. This nerf is just killing the only thing that made working on gens a challenge rather than something that can be sleepwalked through.
I can easily say that going against Ruin is so preferable to being tunneled and camped and slugged. It's not like killers don't do that already, but I'm saying I'd rather have Ruin stay as it is than go up against more killers playing that way.
