Im actually loving doctor.

Been playing whispers survelliance new ruin and bbq (want to find a replacement for bbq maybe put on m and a so i can do the aoe shock while in chase since my tr will be bigger or would distressing be better?) But yeah hes definitely easier to handle and im impressed with new lerys. Whats your guys's thoughts so far?

Would love to comment but i'm too busy playing lobby simulator in my newfound role of survivor main :D
Glad to hear it!
For your dilemma at the end, I'd probably roll with Distressing over M&A. That way you'll get more use out of it in case you're not in a chase, which is arguably when it's most effective (helps you find someone else to chase).
If you needed Ruin to win, Killer probably wasn't your way to go anyway.
Does unnerving presence and distressing still work for the doctor?
Assuming you kick the generator, yes, of course.Wait I'm dumb. I misread it as Overcharge. Yes, skill check modifiers still work.
M&A, when combined with Calm addons adds a lot of stealth capability to the Doc while on cooldown and still gives a huge radius for Static Blast. Its pretty effective.
Distressing increases his terror radius at all times. You can use it for higher radius especially if you aren't using Calm addons.
Yeah, Doctors skill checks are mostly the same. With the Snap Out of It changes and the new Static Blast, survivors will be in Tier 3 much more often, so Unnerving will have a bigger effect on Snap Out of It skill checks as well.
Sounds nice, shame Xbox is sort of in the dark right now but I’m sure we’ll get to try him out in a week or so.
Sorry i don't ever remember writing that i used ruin? but hey, appreciate you jumping to assumptions!
I thought you can avoid skill checks by tapping it?
Sorry that you don't write your reason why you changed roles, I'm going off of what most of the whiny people here! "I'm changing to survivor because of Ruin, or using NOED" blah blah blah.
During times when you use Static Blast for tiering up madness and not for tracking, M&A is actually pretty good. When the game starts, I find the first person and begin a chase with them before immediately using Static Blast. The reduced TR allows you to get within 24 meters of them before they hear you, then your TR jumps up to 40 meters and you instantly get everyone in the match to tier 1, 2 if using an order add-on.
The downside though is that it is harder to use your Blast for tracking. If you mostly use Blast for finding survivors then Distressing is much better.
Lobby times are the same across the board, let's not start spreading a false narrative unless it actually happens.
Clearly not when other threads are stating they have fast queue times?
I've encountered a sound bug when playing as doctor, when gens pop the sound seems to cut out. Anybody else experienced this?
How does the new Shock cooldown feel?
Smoother but the delay of the survivors reacting to the shock is just as awful.
If you needed to work on gens to win, survivor probably wasn't your way to go anyway.
Yeah I've been using Distressing and the TR-increasing addons for maximum Blastage.
"I can finally shock you from the other side of the map! NOBODY CAN STOP ME NOW!"
Ok. Does that mean that the devs never fixed the shock delay bug or that they did and it still feels terrible?
There was always a 1 sec delay before Shock Therapy hit. On PTB it was incorrectly 1.25. For the release today it got fixed and is now 1 sec again.
Considering you get a speed delay when shocking I don't think there should be a cooldown after. What's the reasoning for this. It's not strong and doesn't deny a pallet in the same way Huntress can.
Almo already answered, but they fixed it and it still feels terrible.
You're comparing a game mechanic to a perk? Pathetic.
A perk has nothing to do with a game mechanic.
I don't use Ruin and I still win.
This version of Doc has a ton of potential. Very much looking forward to playing with the new Shock Therapy cooldown. I suspect he's going to be a solid B tier now.
To expand, 1 second for the charge to hit, then an additional 1.5 second cooldown after the blast goes off until the doctor can do anything else. Survivors get a delay of 2.5 seconds after the blast where they can't vault or interact with pallets. So you have 1 second exactly to predict their actions and stop them.
I'm still getting used to it but I do like the changes. I just wish I could practice in peace without being thrown into a match with survivors several ranks higher than me.
The delay on the shock effect is the same as it was before the update. The increased delay on the PTB, which was a bug, has been fixed.
Didn't played something else today, real fun. 4K'ed every match (If you don't consider giving hatch an escape).
Devs, don't nerf him, never
Alittle off topic but does the iridescent queen apply the iridescent king to other survivors? With the static charge or whatever?
