Yeah, I have similar problem with killers. Playing vs killers that can M1 me is very frustrating. I came to this game to calmly repair generators and I didnt know that there are enemies. I just wanted my gen simulator game and not some killers that can injure or down me. I also wanted AC simulator to stealth and be invisible to killers but that bad bad Doc makes me scream. Pls devs can you make all killers useless dolls without any impact on survivors??? Plz devs, plz plz plz 🤪🤪
So you cannot hide like chicken and have to play. With destroyed Ruin its not so hard to win games vs any killer including Doc so instead of crying go learn how to play without stealth🧐
I am. I never used ruin and I dont use ds. And I think that people that are blowing up about a single perk having problems or is changed need to reevaluate if they actually enjoy the game.
No I have played at least 13 matches against the new doc and spent a fair amount of time play as him. I love where doc is at the moment. He's actually fun to play against and as. The complaints I addressed aren't as bad as they are made out to be
I never used ruin or ds either but that doesn't mean I ignore why people felt the need to run them. Tunneling and map pressure are huge problems that you can't shrug off with git gud.
So recently nerfed Doc is op already....
Hey. To skip all the toxicity and answer your concern, killers have kits that help with chasing or detection or a slight mixture of both. Nurse has no detection other than her eyes. But if she finds you she can chase like a mother.
The doctor has very little to aid in chasing. If you scream, just start running from him. He can only walk at you. Throw pallets a loop early so he doesn't shock you. Etc.
Doctor is the embodiment of "you can run but you can't hide" whereas the nurse is the opposite.
I hope this helps explain things a bit. Doc is good at hide and seek but really bad at tag.
I understand that. My point is if one perk is enough to decide wether or not you enjoy the game then that person probably doesn't really enjoy the game. Not once did I say that using those perks means you need to get good.
Um ok? If the perks fix core issues, they should help me enjoy the game. I personally agree with you but you aren't being very empathetic.
I just can't get enough of new Doc. Running around zapping survivors is fun again. I laugh alongside him more than I should, every time I land a shock. He's my boy now, in a wonderful pair with her one and only Nurse Sally.
However, to OP's point, if the devs made these changes to make Doc less frustrating to play against, all I can say is "pretty good job so far" (insert IfYouKnowWhatIMean.jpg).
Problem is that Ruin was balancing game, without it game is sided to survivors. So yes, ppl enjoy balanced game but not survivor sided game and Ruin was making diference.
I like it and hope to see more. Systematically eliminating blendettes has been a goal of mine for a while.
Wait, so doctor is good at tracking? Huh. Well, survivors are super easy to catch, not find. Guess he's the best killer in the game now.

What about the fact that the doc can shock you and prevent you from vaulting, essentially ending chases very quickly?
He's been able to do that for literally years. It takes absolutely perfect timing. Both clown and Freddy are far stronger at shutting down loops and much more easily.
I have to disagree to an extent because I never really used ruin and I main plauge and clown when I play killer. Neither of which are really good at slowing down the game and I never had an issue with it because the "genrush" that people tend to bring up is not as common as they make it out to be.
Usually you can just keep running the loop when he shocks you because it slows him down to do the shock. And you gain ground there.
Another (lower skill level) method is to simply throw the pallets early before he feels the need to shock. Don't recommend long term as you will eat pallets that way. Work on tight loops. Eat the shocks. Not the pallets. But both will work.
I've never liked playing against Doc. But even I see the Static Blast is way better.
I don't know what they did to doc but he's still shocking.
Yes because the doctor won't go towards your scream after they see you were on their totem. Totally.

Lockers, not being in range and calm spirit counter this, use the counter play you’re given. Docs power is mostly tracking.

Fun fact. The shock blast is an AoE. He could literally be chasing someone else and just pop it just because and it could hit you.
It takes 10 seconds to cleanse, the Static Blast is a minute cooldown. I don't see the problem here lmao.

That’s his purpose. You’re not supposed to be able to hide from Doctor normally. Like others have said, Calm Spirit, being out of his range, looping, and lockers counter him. If you can’t or refuse to do that, then that’s on you. Get good.
Also, he just came out two days ago. Give it some time before you guys come out demanding that Doctor be nerfed into oblivion for forcing you to play differently.
When i complained about the ruin nerf you said only bad killers use it and get good. Lol
