Opinions about Thrilling Tremors?

In this new era where ruin is trash. Can thrilling tremors be a good perk?
If a gen is regresing before of the thrilling tremors effect, after the 16 seconds of TT will continue regresing?

I don't think I've used this perk much the only ghostface perk I use the most is im all ears
Yep. TT is pretty good with Ruin or Surge.
Also I wish its cooldown was reduced by 16 seconds.
I think if it's cooldown wasn't so long, I would use it a lot more.
If it got the unnecessary cooldown removed and they just limited to 1 activate per survivor down it would be pretty dang decent.
Currently with a cooldown it's just...okay.
It works for giving you a direction to go like BBQ but does almost nothing in terms of slowing the game down.
I would consider using it if it didn't have that horrible, unnecessary cooldown.
It's the killers' spine chill: decent but very overrated.
It'll continue regressing once the Thrilling Tremors effect wears off, but the regression is paused while the blocking is active.
EDIT: For the record, this hasn't changed. It was already like this. But this is a great example of how strong the placebo effect can be.
I think this perk would be better if it blocked gens currently being worked on. It's not a long duration, it has a pretty long cd so it won't happen often and it slows down the game. Which is desperately needed right now. As it is, the perk is only good for knowing where NOT to search. There are better tracking perks. If I wanted to find people after a hook id run BBQ. If I wanted to know what areas are empty id run whispers.
Ty for answers. I'll see.
It is a decent perk imo, always has been.
Can provide good information and if survivors want to play around it they're not doing gens. Win-win in my book.
I have been running it together with Agitation to minimize downtime before the ruin nerf instead of BBQ if I fehlt no need for BP. Felt like it helped a fair bit with efficiency overall.
You serious? Wow. I gave the perk a lot more credit before, now I can see it is kinda crap.
WHYYYY does it pause regression when it already has a cooldown on it???
Perk is garbage. It PAUSES regression if that alone doesn't matter it's like a 60 sec cooldown. It's really bad.
Why is this even a thing? I thought the entire purpose was to keep survivors off so it COULD regress if it has been damaged.
My Ruin and Thrilling Tremors build is ruined :(
Get out of here you pundevil
Man, BHVR really hates regression
1. Survivors realize you have Ruin and Thrilling Tremors.
2. Survivors get off the Gen when their Friend goes down nearby.
3. Thrilling Tremors pauses Ruin from taking effect for 16 seconds while I hook the survivor and they attempt a bait and switch.
Why use this perk with Ruin at all when it can shut down your Hex for 16 seconds.
Love the perk but 60 second cooldown on tier 3 isn't worth it.
Seems so. This was my go to perk alongside Surge. Nice to know it's now wasted. It's like BHVR wants all killers to fail!
I think most people, myself included, didn't realize it paused the regression while it was blocked.
I already thought it wasn't that great, but now that I know that, man it's bad. That literally defeats the entire point of blocking them.
Remove the blocked regression while it's active and remove its cooldown.
i think the perk is just like corrupt and bbq but just so much worse like it just dosen't do enought to be used by me at least but i wont stop you guys from running it.
:O!
this is a big (and a bit depressing, to be fair) news, how in the world no one knew this? Someone call an ambulance for Otzdarva..
This makes the perk MUCH worse, the whole point was to keep the generators regressing. With such a long cool down why would you further handicap the perk?
wow thats actually bad what reason do you have to justify pausing regression it should regress even when blocked makes no sense on why you pause it.
It's good with Pop. That's about it.
Why the long CD if it doesn't regress while TT is in effect? The guaranteed regress was the reason i would run it with some perks. It alone as a pure info perk makes it trash. Should just use BBQ because of it not having that CD. I do think it needs a CD but not that long of one. If CD went down while TT was in effect it would be good, not great, but good. Or even just allow gens regress while TT was in effect. No ruin makes it so if a gen was worked on it would just regress 4 seconds of progress, with ruin it would be 8 seconds. The former is almost negligible while the latter you can capitalize on it allowing synergy with Ruin and Trilling Tremors.
The cooldown is too long and that it doesn't synergize with Ruin means I have no reason to carry it. Either get rid of the cooldown/drastically reduce it, or have it work with Ruin.
Alternatively, make the only condition that it can't be triggered by the same survivor twice in a row. That encourages/rewards applying pressure and not tunneling.
