If slugging is a problem, bring Unbreakable. That’s the counter. Survivors don’t earn hatch. You have as much chance finding it as killers do. Maybe more so when you factor in maps and Left Behind.
I personally love being slugged for 4 mins so a killer can satisfy themselves with a 4k. Idk how anyone has a problem with it. Just use Unbreakable; if he finds you again he definitely won't slug you again!
The thing is, people say "bring unbreakable" if the killer is slugging. They say "bring DS" if the killer is tunneling, they say "bring BT" if the killer is camping....then minutes later everyone is complaining about survivors running all these perks.
People also say that killers should pressure the map but complain like children when that pressure comes from slugging. So miss me with this logic. The fact is, everything has a counter. Whether it's a perk. An item. Or just being someone who actually knows how to play. The latter obviously being rare on the forums.
I wouldn't have too much of a problem with slugging for the 4k if it weren't for the fact that killers will sometimes slug survivors for 4 full minutes before they finally bleed out. Unbreakable? You or the other survivor will be found again, downed and slugged again... further prolonging an already won game (for the killer). Healed? Same thing will happen again.
OP's suggestion of survivors bleeding out faster is therefore great. It lets everyone including the slugged survivor carry on with their day and move on. No one wants to be slugged for 4 straight mins.
Exactly it's boring as hell. I understood it with the old hatch which was a free escape for the survivor but with the new EGC there's no need to, killers have a much higher chance of finding the hatch first since they move faster and can move freely without needing to stealth about. On top of that they get priority and can close the hatch before the survivor can jump in if both are stood on top of it.
Way I proposed it...
Survivors have a bleedout button. When activated survivors bleedout at 2 x speed unless it is pressed again. This still gives the killer 2 minutes to get the other survivor, and even if they don't they still have a killer sided hatch now.
While the survivor is bleeding out their aura is revealed to the killer. That way if they can't find the other survivor they can find this slug and get the points from them and then look for the hatch.
Hell you could even have the survivor unable to crawl in that situation if it wasn't enough for the killers.
This way the killer won't lose a slug and that survivor only has to wait 2 mins before being allowed to join a new game.

Well that’s the entire point really. People have accepted that they’ve lost and they want to move on but need to wait upwards of 4 minutes before being allowed to do so.
Ehm no. The TE thinks he deserves a 4k, but noone deserves anything besides the chance to escape/kill. So if he didnt get the 4th kill, thats how it is, but the TE wants to get the 4th kill for free.

At least the Killer actually has to put effort into getting the 4k, you can still drag yourself while slugged, you can still recover and heal a dying survivor from dying state, and you can still take perks to get back up out of dying, or make it more manageable.
The Killer literally has nothing to counter the hatch mechanic - other than slugging the third survivor, because if they put that survivor on the hook - most they are going to suicide to give the last player the hatch, especially if they had already found it, and even more likely if they are in a SWF.
And don't give me that "you can look for the hatch first, then finish the game" or "You can just find the hatch first VS the last survivor". So you're telling me that when the Survivors fail to complete their objective, I have to play a dumb game of scavenger hunt for the victory I have already put the effort into achieving? Why? Because survivors were taking the game hostage by hiding?
The entire premise of the mechanic is stupid, and the dev's made a terrible decision in giving a free win mechanic as a resolve to survivors taking the game hostage by hiding when things didn't go their way.
So you don't want killers to maximize their chance of a 4k if they play really good and just depend on RNG and hope they find hatch first.
Hatches are already survivors crutches, you and your team have effectively lost and doing gens at this point is impossible so the game is being nice and allowing you one last chance of escaping. Get slugged before that? tough.
I already think they're not killer sided enough since a survivor can earn some escapes by doing no gens, hiding in a locker and being lucky to have hatch spawn near them.
So yes, If a killer is playing better than you and completely dominates you while you play like a potato then you're don't deserve to get an escape.
Not sure why you are so entitled to an escape since... Ya know... Neither said is entitled and deserve AN escape or a 4k. They have the right to try to get it. Not a high chance to have one side escape and the other the low chance to get the other 4k.

Bring up the issue when they address the fact that 3 survs can escape via hatch at one time with 1 key.
If they played well enough to be in a position to get a 4k, they may well deserve it. Especially if you get to higher ranks.
I would also like for them to fix survivors DCing for an instant hatch, but that's never going to happen.
You cannot stop a killer going for a 4k if that is what they are aiming for.

Just cry about them instead of playing the game and accepting that some games and gonna be hard and some easy.
If the killers is crying because he only killed 3 people. Hate to tell you but that's a win.
Survivors crying about being slugged run the perks to get up or crawl to hatch then.
Either play the game without moaning about every single match you play or just go play the SIMs and you wont have yo worry.

I lurk alot on the forums and one thing ive learned is, so many people don't understand what taking the game hostage means for some reason.

Hatch is so unfair though, especially with keys. "Can't beat this killer! Press a button and win!"
