Any word on if the Pop surge interaction is going to be fixed

Honestly it's really irritating that you can't run both of those perks at the same time without surge eating your pop without any effect.
So could it at least work in combination with each other giving the pop effect to all gens affected by surge or if you've considered that too powerful could you at least make it so surge doesn't use up pop

If I understood correctly when Surge first came out, it was not designed so that Surge would apply POP, or did that change? Maybe I am not up-to-date
The last time I tested it out surge would literally just take away your Pop Goes the Weasel without giving any extra regression to any gens.
So basically would act like you used Pop Goes the Weasel without actually applying Pop Goes the Weasel
I believe Surge and Pop shouldnt work together, you could potentially regress up to 2 or 3 generators by 33% each with a not so hard to pull prerequisite (hook one then down someone before 60 seconds have passed).
That being said, Surge shouldnt consume Pop charge so you can go kick any other generator.
Pop works at 25%. Not 33%
Also, you missed the big prerequisite of surge being in range of said 3 gens... which just doesn't happen
Pop is 25% and Surge is 8%, that adds to 33% and yes you have to be near 3 gens which isnt very common but isnt that rare either, especially in certain maps like Azarovs, The Game, Suffocation Pit, Blackwater maps or others.
Being near 2 gens is really easy tho.
The devs said they don't want (too much) synergy for slow-down perks. That's why Ruin and PGTW also don't work together. 🤷
The problem is when Surge activates, it disables Pop for no reason. OP isn't saying they should work together, but Surge shouldn't cancel Pop's timer for no reason.
Edit: Okay I guess OP did propose that they could work together but that's not the main point.
What? This sounds like a bug.
I'm sure it is, and I'm sure it's been around since Surge was added. Wonder how much longer they'll take to fix it.
I didn't know this bug existed. I also think I've never seen somebody play both perks together.
Have the devs even acknowledged this bug?

Why would you use them together anyways? It's like that meme build of Self Care and No Mither. You need to kick the gen to use PGTW.
New Ruin would work better. Forces someone off a gen, notifies you they're nearby, then starts regressing automatically.
I've seen it a few times, but I've never used the perks together myself. Idk if it's been posted in the bug reports section already but @Volfawott should do that if they haven't done so already.
Oh its not going to be fixed, teh devs don't want slow down perks to synergize; but DS, BT, and Unbreakable working together is fine.
Ive been using surge and PGTW together on my Freddy since surge was released. You might not be able to use em both on the same gen but... Typically I'll down a survivor and surge nearby gens, hook them and see far off BBQ auras so I know which gen to tele to and use the Pop.
You make it sound like an accident. They purposely make it so certain gen regression perks are anti-synergistic.
Because this goes beyond synergy. Surge is removing the stored Pop without it getting used.
Survivors have no restrictions when it comes to working on gens and everything for gens stacks, but for killers, anything that relates to gens must be separate or have very low synergy that only makes 2-3 seconds of difference. Quite balanced, isn't it?
