Why Is Anyone Surprised By Hangman's?

Everyone knew in the PTB that Hangman's was way too strong.

Why, then, is everyone shocked that it got nerfed? And why is everyone rushing to post forums about it without even trying it in the base game?

People aren't surprised it got nerfed

They are surprised it got nerfed so hard

    Not surprised.

The surprise is they didn't touch sabotage AT ALL.

And as Sonzaishinai said.. that it got nerfed that hard.

Everyone knew in the PTB that new sabotage was way too strong, and it still went live without a change to it.

And with the hard nerf to the Hangman's Trick changes, they literally removed the only counter sabotage had in favor of a weak as ######### aura reading and useless notification.

Hangman's Trick counters the new sabo changes plus you get a small amount of aura reading. The PTB version with increased range combined with high movement killers like Nurse, Spirit and Billy would be insane.

    My suggestion for Hangman's trick:

    • Gives notification when sabotaging a hook
    • Hooks respawn in 30 seconds after a sacrifice or sabotage.
    • While carrying a survivor, Increases sabotage time by 100% (So sabo would take 5 sec instead of 2.5 sec)

This way, you can try to pre-sabo a hook very quickly, but the killer will know ahead of time and plan accordingly. If you attempt to sabo in his face, it's extremely risky, and you definitely cannot sabo after taking a hit.

Hooks liter the map. Not to mention, six meters on indoor maps like the Game or Lery's would be very useful.

People see scary numbers and get mad. It's like clockwork.

I didn't think it was too strong, and to be hoenst i'm really surprised that got nerfed but all the buffs to survivors got by with no big changes.

sabo change are obscenely OP and they went live.

The notification is next to useless with how fast new sabotage is.

The hook respawn needs to be back to the 30/20/10 it was before the nerf.

I like the idea of increasing sabotage time, but make it while within the killer radius, not just while carrying. But auto-repair was the main reason most people ran the perk in the first place.

I agree, it was obvious it wasnt get released like it was in PTB, it happened the same to new Surveillance.

I'm surprised sabotage change goes live.

    It's not useless.

It tells you not to go for that ######### hook. Or to drop the survivor sooner and spread the pain.

By everyone, are you referring to any all all survivors who think they should have all the aura perks aside from BBQ?

You have the aura reading, you can see someone's crouched next to it. No need of a notification for that, my eyes work just fine.
