What if the nearest 1/2/3 hooks were repaired whenever a survivor wiggles free from the killer's grasp while being carried?
How about it stays the way it is
Oh, right. This change would negatively impact survivors in a very niche situation. Apologies for even suggesting such a thing.
They already respawn faster than they did before, so this would make the perk pretty useless instead of its current use of some information gathering based on potential sabo users.
How about we buff it so it isn't trash tier?
I'm not sure how useful that would be. Hooks already respawn in 30 seconds after this last update, so by the time you can chase them and down them again - if they're even still in the same area - the hooks will have respawned anyway.
They used to respawn in 10 seconds. With the change, the killer would have to drop the survivor 3-4x (is that 10 seconds?), and the survivor would get to go free. They'd have to be hunted down again and hope that all the Saboteurs are on cooldown.
If you see someone rushing up to a hook to sabo, drop the current survivor you're carrying and hunt the sabo user. By the time you're done downing them, the hook should've respawned or you'll be close to another hook.
