Not the way I want to play the game
I have been a killer main for about 6 months now. I moved to the killer role because playing survivor gets boring .
Being a survivor main first definitely had an effect on the way I played killer. I always BBQed away from hooks to find the next survivor. I avoided slugging because I have been on the receiving end and it just sucks. Laying on the floor bleeding out or being tunneled off first hook is a miserable experience for survivors.
The past few weeks has been the worst time I have ever had playing DBD. If I play straight up it's almost always entity displeased or maybe brutal.
In my frustration I started camping, slugging and tunneling the past few days. Tunnel the first guy to make it 3 v 1. Proxy camp and slug from there and the game goes my way the majority of the time. I pip pretty regularly this way. Black pip at worst.
Is this future of the game? Camp, tunnel, and slug every game to be viable as a killer.
I have even noticed the top killer main streamers are using these strategies more and more. If someone who plays the game for a living has to play this way. What option does a 8 hour a week killer have?
I know survivors are always on the boards complaining about these tactics. At this point in time what choice does a killer have? It's either Play straight up so they can have a good time or be a douche so I can be viable.
This is not the way I want to play the game.
