That's a good question. 2x BP is great and all, but a lot of people jump on that and farm as much as possible. Farming matches are fine if you're just after the points, but they really ruin the game for people who want to play normally. It's not a big deal usually since they're only four days long, but since this one is three weeks long, we don't want it to get in the way of normal gameplay for that long.

That’s what happened when we had games with five gateaus in them.
So does camping, tunneling and slugging as an overall plan, but you're ok with that.
Look, glad we got 1.5, but don't use such a lame excuse for not going 2. Just say that you don't want to ruin the fun of the grind.
I really don't get people who want to farm. Go play killer with bbq and even being completely potato you will get more BP than farming as survivor.

We're bound to have some complaining threads about how this gift to us isn't good enough so I want to do my tiny part to have a " Thank You" thread overshadow the whiny threads.
Sadly there is already a thread complaining about how we should be getting double, but personally I’m just happy that we got listened to and that the devs rewarded us.
Either way it’s better to have a bit of good posts here and there.

Quit whining. Those are tactics adopted because Survivors haven't been curbed appropriately. Toolboxes are still a problem, as is synergy with repair speed perks. Combined with the inability for what should be a terrifying, overwhelmingly powerful Killer to effectively stop/punish three to four ostensibly normal human 20 somethings from acting like smug fools, it's a lousy experience for we Killers to feel powerless the way we do now.
Their trying to give us something because of what's happening outside, so stop complaining.
The DEVs gave us a BP bonus. Why y'all complaining. Be happy that you didn't get anything at all
god forbid players want to take advantage of double bp to bypass the tremendous grind that is necessary to acquire useful perks. 2x BP should be the standard honestly. The grind puts off so many new players. Whats the point of even having different lvls of perks? It's just an unnecessary grind.
Also if you guys are worried about people farming have you seen what the archives do to people?

I don't care what they are, they are still very frustrating for players, especially at lower ranks. Farming hurts nobody. Huge difference.
Those "tactics" cause more frustration than any farming. So my comment is that Peanits explanation holds no water. As for your childish response about whining, you may want to take a look around as I'm known to play killer and advocate for changes to help equalize SWF. The difference is I'm a mature person who realizes this is a game and toxic tactics are not healthy in any game.
Kids these days, they don't know how to discuss things, nor have any sense of sportsmanship.
BHVR gave us some boost, but it's not 100%. I'm so upset that I can't get those extra 3 items in the bloodweb after each match. BHVR sucks blah blah blah >:c
