Anyone else excited for console optimisation?

for all those console players, are you excited for these improvements because I am so ready. DBD is a poorly optimised game especially on console so that’s the reason we are locked to 30 FPS on base platforms so if they actually take time to improve the frame rate and frame drops then we could play on 60 FPS maybe. It’s a game that should have been 60 FPS from the start and had no reason not to be (just poor optimisation). Killer would be more playable and the game would look much better.

    60fps is probably asking too much for consoles. They should aim for a steady 30fps minimum.

    I usually do have a stable 30 FPS anyways but some maps and the doctor or clown are really bad. Probably will be fixed with the optimisation patch.

    Bad internet on killer side plus Doctor= killer getting 4k easy.

    But on topic yes while i'm on pc it's definitely nice for consoles.

    What are you on? I've got a ps4 pro and boost mode helps a little but it's not a stable 30fps for me in majority of maps and killers. I get the occasional smooth one but for the most part it's definitely not stable. (Though it's not a huge fluctuation, its just not a consistent 30fps)

    Have they mentioned optimising console? I haven’t been able to check.

    I am still waiting for the PC optimization to arrive.

    When they said console optimization it was like they told Santa was real and christmas was coming at some point this year. 60fps would be too much to ask but fingers crossed it is a radical improvement.
