I disagree with the comment after the title, but the title itself...I've stopped burning BP offerings because I swear it seems to turn a light on in my head and the survivors' heads/killer's head that I must underperform extremely hard, and must be the first out of the game if possible. I've come to dread games with a BPS or more as a result.
I stopped using it, Because idk if im just being unlucky that everytime i use it i face tunneler killer, Or fair killers become tunnlers if they see this offreing lol.
I think it’s mostly the second. I think when me or a teammate uses BPS then 9/10 times the killer decides to be a jerk to ruin someone’s game. Then you get that rare killer who nods immediately and wants to farm so everyone gets 20-30k points
Mori and Keys are weird to me, because they just seem like a loss for both sides.
Ok, you escaped/mori'ed everyone. The game ended prematurely, you got hardly anything for it, your opponents got hardly anything for it, what the heck was the point?

Games have been cringy since the Ruin change imo. Killers turning into tunnelers more to get a grip on the game, survivors gen rushing more to counter that. Not sure if it is all a result of the Ruin change.
But I'd not blame that on the BPS if at all, more on the overall experience atm
Nope, sorry I didn’t mean that. No one should feel obligated to farm either side. I was kind of generalizing that there is no middle ground once a BPS pops up. The killers either want to farm a half hour game or tunnel and face camp even more than usual. I never seem to just get a “normal game,” once a BPS shows up
Even better is people who DC during bonus events AND blood party streamers. No exaggeration I have seen people in a game with 4 streamers play the whole thing and then DC right before death hook... uhm okay so your weird stand about hating Freddy and not wanting to let him “get the kill,” just cost you 100k blood points

I only offer during swf as well. Probably 75% of my solo games have killers that are too lazy to leave a 30m radius of the hook.

This happens all the time for me its like the matchmaker sees i have birthday cake enabled and instantly grabs a mori tunneling killer.

I had a player with an escape cake DC in hopes of gifting hatch. Cost me 500 points maybe (31,500). Cost him/her easily 20,000 or more.
