Dead Hard Isn’t Even English

the first time someone told me Dead Hard was a perk, I thought they were a dummy becuase that’s was so grammatically incorrect that I was absolutely astonished, an Eurika moment here people, that it’s actually a thing. 


Why exactly is it called “Dead Hard” and not, “Dodge Hard?” Heh? 


Whadda heck? 




Why?

    I think it's a reference to how rugby players get hit so hard that it's astonishing they're not regularly dead.

    It's a Perk's name, you can do whatever you want with names, grammatically correct or not.
    For all we know, next set of Perks could have a Perk called "John". :p

    Would probably be better referred to as "Dead 'ard" for authenticity! David's from up North; in some uk regional dialects, "dead" translates as "very", or " really" as @Baphomett pointed out.

    You need to either read up on David King Lore or the many English accents and languages rather than the stereotypical london accent and language everyone stereotypes us Brits as having. I'm from where David King is in the lore (Manchester) and his language is how traditional mancunians talk. Dead hard no mither and all that are common phrases we use. We are not weird it's just culture and language evolving into current times.
