DBD needs to dedicate a chapter to simply fixing bugs and other issues with the game. No new killer or anything. Just like Siege did awhile back.
Siege is still a buggy pos.
Two completely different developers. Two VERY different games. Siege is probably one of the hardest games to fix just because of it's destruction system. DBD is literally just models moving around and doing small actions. A full chapter to fix bugs would help 100%
Yes. Please. This is all I want. We have 20 killers, and even more survivors. There is so much in DBD now compared to late 2018.
Look at the simplicity and genius of early killers and mechanics compared to more and more complicated meter killers we have now. Just take a step back, and refine everything we have. Fix bugs, QOL changes, killer reworks, more map variants/changes, maybe more items and base perks, details like more 1st person moris. Just slow down and make what we have good.
They have randomized elements in each level that are generated on the fly when loading in. Window placement, hooks, etc. It's not simple PERSON GO WHOOSH KILLER GO RAAAGH. MAKE RED GO SPLOOSH.
If they want their game stable, they'd need to throw out all the RNG.
None of that compares to the complexity of siege. You can't say "Siege is still buggy" to try and devalue DBD doing it. DBD would benefit greatly from it. I seriously doubt the hooks, pallets, windows, and the basement being random is what's making their game buggy as all hell
I second this. For the sake of the health of this game, changes need to be made and all the bugs need to be fixed. We don't need a graphics update, we don't need to release new legendary skins, we need to fix the state of the game.
It was supposed to be fixed last year, so we had no events (No, reusing designs from past events is not an event).
Keep in mind that it is the charm of DBD, it is quite common to see a bug almost daily. 💘
They'll never fix this game. Keep buying DLC's, and maybe they will, in the next decade.
No actually, do the opposite. Speak with your wallet. If BHVR doesn't get their money, then they're under pressure to see what the community wants instead.
I know that, but at the first update killers came back. As long as there are people, they don't need to. And with how slow their updates are, you can expect a good amount of milking before actually working on the game's health.
Small bugfixes each patch does not mean working on the game's health. There are still many many bugs left untreated for a long time.
The funny thing is that the thing in the patch notes that excite me the most is the bug fixes lol. I'm not even being sarcastic it's true.
They should, but I don't think they will.
Honestly the only bug I've noticed is the really wonky hitboxes recently other than that I rarely see bugs can people list some common bugs?
You're absolute right! They were going to focus on bugs and the health of the game, which is why we didn't have a Summer Event.
Where the hell are their funds going?
They know they don't have to do it. Even if the veterans leave they'll still have streamers and new players coming in who will buy the content regardlessly. The cycle will just continue until people just quit the game all together.
