why cant we get brightness settings?

The big problem when not having brightness setting is when claudettes become invisible and when i play freddy and always being stuck in the dreamworld make this problem much worse. So why dont we have brightness settings?

Because the devs love their blendettes. (Also whats the point of darker maps when you could just up your brightness)
If you own an nvidia GPU, you can download Geforce Experience and enable custom filters.
I've seen some streamers use it and it's quite game changing imo. Also I do have SweetFX installed but game looks even more colorful with the custom settings.

Still you have more options here. You will need to try it in KYF and find the optimal setting for you.

What settings are those?
Its part of balancing. Midwich is a great example of this actually. Survivors that are good at hiding and doubling back to confuse the killer do well on midwich and the lighting helps that. Where the survivors that are used to looping hate it. Its also why gens light up the immediate area after its complete, it becomes harder to hide there.

Here’s the thjng, players from both sides have gotten into a rut. Survivors especially have become accustomed to T wall L wall loops, and window loops, etc. Anything that forces them to adapt or change that style is “unfun,” or “just bad.”
Thats why the map is hated, no real safe pallets or good loops. It’s also why people don’t like Freddy, pyramid or Doctor because Th ire abilities can counter the standard loopjng.
