What Quality of Life Improvements Would You Like to See in the Future?

I'm not talking anything too huge or balance changes but just simple things they could change or add that would make all the difference for you. I have a few personally.
1. Hook Struggle Mechanic Change
Probably the thing I want most in this game at the moment. Not much to really say about it but just something I'd love to see happen. I've been killed so many times because of the hook struggle mechanic and any kind of change would be so nice.
2. Loadout Slots
Having a couple loadout slots for perks/Outfits would be a fantastic addition to the game. I always forget it's a thing I want when thinking about this stuff but it's one of those things that if they did add it, I'd probably wonder how I went so long without it.
3. Bots (mainly for KYF)
This one is definitely a bigger change but once again I would adore bots, mainly for KYF so you could practice different killers you've never played, various builds and addons without actually having to go into a game or get a party setup.
4. Customizable Start Screen
A really simple one but I'd enjoy being able to change the intro screen to have various past backgrounds and have the survivors of my choice around the fire. Right now they switch randomly (I think) but I'd enjoy being able to choose my own 4 survivors that sit at the fire and different backgrounds to go with it. Heck, if they did ever add bots then the survivor bots could be wearing whatever outfits you had on. I think that'd be neat as well.

I guess that last one is a bit involved...
I completely forgot about the refund/craft one. Me and my buddy talk about that one all the time and is another I'd personally kill for. Those would all be neat additions I think though.
The struggle mechanic exists purely to limit the killer from getting you into the basement from anywhere on the map. It serves no other real purpose but to pressure the killer into deciding what hook is the most optimal. So on that front it's fine where it is.
Loadouts and searching perks and items/offerings/addons.
The reason I don't think this would work is because then the rarer addons could be much more accessible and then subsequently have to have their power reduced in order to not just have (when they're actually good) pure red addon killers who just recycle all other addons into material for constant red addon games. But as someone who only uses the CD addons on Nurse though I wouldn't mind it because I have to spend so god damn much just to keep them stocked up.
I've never seen this addressed, and it's always annoyed me: not having rank update error block the screen and then kick you to the startup screen when you acknowledge it. You can still hear the scoreboard being updated in the background, so I don't get why you're not allowed to see it (especially everyone's loadouts).
It's interesting seeing so many people suggesting a search option. I never really had an issue with finding things where I'd would personally want a search function but it does seem like a nice addition. It's quite nice seeing these other QoL things I've never really thought about.
Sorry, I worded that pretty badly but I meant the hook struggle phase not the killer carrying you around one.
Personally, I would love the small refund mechanic more then a crafting one but I don't think a crafting mechanic would be all that bad depending on the costs for each thing. If things were super easy to craft then yeah, that would be a problem but I think having a small system to get rid of a ton of offerings/addons you'll never use in order to get just a few addons/offerings you will would be okay.
Nothing too crazy like an advanced part system but just a simple recycling system like 10 of brown gets you a single yellow of your choosing kind of thing with each color requiring 10 of the previous. I don't think that would be too bad a system and it'd let people get rid of the crap they're never going to use.
I definitely agree with number 2. I think being able to see who was in a SWF would be a nice little addition for survivor and killer both. As someone who plays solo now and then I think it'd be neat to know if my teammates were a group or not. Number 1, 6 and number 7 are also ones I wouldn't mind seeing.
I would love a build randomizer that automatically selects perks, items, addons and offerings .
Ohhh that'd be really neat. I've used some offsite randomizers before but having one in-game would be a pretty cool addition.
advanced video setting or "CUSTOM" more optimization settings in general... :/
being able to see fellow survivors perk and item loadout as well as offering so we can try to synergize better as randoms, this wouldn't even benefit SWF because they know this information already.
better gate placements on maps since nothing says fun like having a closed hatch and a huntress with both gates within throwing distance of each other.
when playing killer if the enemy has a SWF they'r repair speed should be handicapped per party member, randoms should be un-effected by this.

Oh my bad, yes the hook struggle should be made into something way better. I have personally eliminated any problems with it through a macro and Logitech g600 + software. I no longer have to mash buttons for struggling on their shoulder or during the 2nd hook phase. It's so nice, I wish everyone could experience it.
Honestly, accessibility options are #1 to me.
For me I just like customizing stuff and would like to change the colour of UI elements and auras, but for many people that are colourblind or other things it could massively improve their gameplay experience.

Making the button for picking up a Trapper trap different from picking up a survivor.
Let's say a recently unhooked survivor steps in a step. You hit them so they're in the dying state, and they're laying right on top of your trap. Instead of wasting time making sure you're picking up the trap instead of the survivor who may have DS, map the "pick up trap" button to Ctrl so you waste less time.

The ability to add bots in Kill Your Friends, so you don't require a friend or 2nd device to check out maps.
Better game optimization and in game video settings. Especially for console which runs very poorly.
This is a really good idea. I have friends that would really benefit from this, just for learning the mechanics of the game without having to find a time where we can KYF just so they can practice.
Make default survivor outfits + Prestige a set to easily equip them all at once. Alongside the potential of some custom slots!
Some of these may have already been said.
- Accessibility options. I'll risk someone using it to gain an advantage so someone that needs help seeing can play.
- Sharing of offerings, items, and add ons similar to mobile. When you prestige only the perks will reset. This way if you're at red rank when new DLC comes out you can atleast burn extra BP offerings with the new character, as survivor have atleast an item to use if you don't have many perks yet.
- Ability to trade in offerings, items, addons for BP.
- For survivor make it so Pick up Item and Interaction buttons can be different buttons.
- Remove gamertags from lobby and during match, replace with either Survivor 1 Survivor 2 or with character names. At end game screen put character names next to gamertags for reporting purposes.
- Make struggle/wiggle be holding down a button. If you let go you give up.
- If a player DCs from a match any players that complete match should atleast get a safety pip. If a survivor DCs have entity animation play. If second to last survivor the hatch would open after the animation like they were sacrificed on hooked.
- Instead of each color of a perk having multiple levels just make yellow level one, green level two, and purple level three. This will help cut down on the grind.
- Personal stats: games played, characters killed, characters you've escaped with, killers you've escaped from, totems cleansed, gens repaired, number of survivors caught it bear traps, etc. I know it's a bummer to not see old stats but it'd be nice to have something put in place to see going forward. Would also help in tracking how close you are to completing an achievement.

One thing I haven't seen is related to the rift - challenges for the rift being able to be changed in-lobby and don't un-ready players when they go into it. And when you're in-game, you see your challenge and it's progress.. so you know you need to kick 4 more gens or stun the killer 2 more times, etc.
Also the ability to see your daily quests when you're searching for a match. Why is it disabled? it baffles me
That is a fantastic one right there. I'd love if they added this, I've gotten plenty annoyed from thinking I finished one of my challenges, daily's but being a little but short. This would be a wonderful addition.
