People saying Legion and Wraith need to get good lmao

LeatherFace used to be my answer had you asked me before the latest update. However, now, I think deathslinger is the weakest. He has zero map pressure even if you try your best. However, if good at sniping with the hook, one can end games pretty quickly.

Clown or Pyramid Head. PH has an ez dodge power with a gimmick, and Clown has just really underwhelming anti-loop.

If you are playing pig without her stealth, she is a pure M1 killer; with a tiny bit of slowdown and anti-loop built in. That's literally as bad as it can get in this game. Good survivors just run off the tile if you try to use ambush at loops, and unless you have combat straps you can't fake it.

"Very very rare" first attempt removal is 25% of the time.

Timer + sketch or timer + gears turns the traps into RNG mori's. And you may as well use that, because it's about all pig is good for.

It's sad that the most famous pig in the game uses monitor + whispers just to get stealth hits sometimes. Think that someone like wraith get's consistent stealth hits with no perks needed, can use those two perk slots for like pop + sloppy instead, and also gets to run around at potentially up to ~170% movespeed speed with double windstorm (a bit of a waste, but it's possible). Meanwhile pig is instead of going at 90% speed while simultaneously having her vision obstructed to boot.

At least clown forces pallet drops very, very quickly if he closes the gap on you and is good with the bottles.

Nurse technically. Without putting skill into evaluation, she is the easiest killer to loop and mind game and actually provides weakest map pressure. Sure she can teleport around quickly, but thing is, precisely due to being the slowest killer and being easily escaped from, she cannot quickly down survivors and move onto another gen quickly.

Seeing a lot of people say that Pig is a weak killer. While she is certainly not top tier in terms of killers, her power without add ons and perks is not the worse and has much utility.

Her crouching gives you stealth and undetectable status, This allows you to get close to other and get hits and downs without alerting them.

In her crouch she has ambush which a good pig can use to close distance and shut down loops better than clown. You potentially even get some pallet drops here and there.

If you are evaluating her RBT by how effective they are in killing people, then they are not. I get a couple every now and then. However, evaluating it as a stall mechanic it is pretty good. You have one person who is trying to get it off their head, they are out of the game at the moment. Down someone else and then they are out of the game at the moment. This requires someone else to come and unhook which takes them out of the game too. That leaves 1 person doing gens.

With the bear traps, you also know that there are 4 places a survivor is heading, which you can patrol when patrolling generators.

At its best, it is an anti-looping, stall, detection, stealth, and killing power.

There are some obvious work around to it, but even if the trap comes off fast, you still stalled the game.

The stats, developer forum posts, and devs on stream have all said she is doing really well statistically.

    No...?

Nurse's power ignores pallets, windows, even walls and gives her some pretty nice map mobility. That saves her so much time compared to most other killers. Because of that Nurse is theoretically the strongest killer in the game. In practice maybe not because she's really hard to play, but the potential is 100% there.

He is only good in chases, but in pressure he is weak. In matches he can barely manage to do 1k or 2k.

Why would a low pressure killer be at such a high tier?

  • xEaxEa Member Posts: 2,282

He is excellent in a chase and therefore his pressure is also good. There is no better way to create pressure like downing and hooking people. But you are right, his mobility is low so he is not that good in forcing survivors off gens. Still, a killer that can kill people in seconds? Cant be that bad, right?

Clown, hes okay in a chase but others do it better, he also has nothing out of chase.

  • FFirebranddFFirebrandd Member Posts: 309

That's why I said Clown is the worst Killer. Yeah he's good in chase, but new Bubba, PH, Slinger, and Huntress all arguably do the whole no mobility but strong chase thing better than he does.

  • SCP_FOR_DBDSCP_FOR_DBD Member Posts: 2,243

Yeah, perhaps the devs should consider giving him a secondary ability.

Clown isint it for sure, his ability to quickly end chases is pretty good. He's by no means top tier but I'm consistently playing him since the mini buff and the games are going better than ever. Always liked him, but barely played him. He's not the worst, but probably the most boring killer.

It's hard to say, all killers feel somewhat solid right now. I'd have to say Wraith, but that's because he's pretty addon dependent. Trapper possibly if you count for the fact that survivors could just end up avoiding every trap; addon dependent as well because 1 trap at base is garbage.
